Wedding

She could tell something was up with him. He started to panic a little bit since he had never been a good liar

"Oh right, well um work was good for me today?" He tried
"You didn't have work either, ok what is up with you today"

He really started to panic while trying to think of a good answer but luckily he was saved by the waiter coming to take their order. They both ordered lobster and it arrived pretty quickly. They both ate in mostly silence just exchanging a couple words about how good it was.

When the food was finished and the bill was paid he gently took her hand and led her out towards the car so he could drive to the last place. Jade still didn't know what was up but she could tell something was off because no one randomly decides to go to the fanciest restaurant in town for fun

He drove over to the park where he had first found her sitting alone. He went to go talk to her and from there their relationship grew. He knew she would've probably hated him if he decided to get down on one knee in the restaurant because everyone does that so he opted for the quiet park

He led her over to the bench and they sat and watched the stars for a few minutes before jade got fed up

"Ok seriously beck why are we here sitting in an abandoned kids park at almost midnight"

"Because it's important"
"What's importa-

She got cut off by beck kissing her and getting her to stand up. He took her hands and led her away from the bench a bit before reaching into his pocket and getting down on one knee

"Jadelyn August west, you've made the last 7 years of my life the best they could possibly be and I love you so so much and you mean the world to me, will you marry me?"

Jade was so shocked that she didn't know what to say but she quickly nodded her head before jumping into his arms

It was official. They were engaged and they wouldn't want it any other way

They decided to have the wedding in June since they really didn't want to wait. And it was March right now so the had around three months to plan it all out

First they told becks parents who didn't like jade that much but loved their son and wanted him to be happy so they came to terms with it eventually. Jades parent weren't the happiest though, they had never liked beck because of how perfect him and his family were the only difference between his and her parents is that they didn't love jade and weren't happy in the slightest

Jade was upset that her parents didn't want to see their only child get married but beck made her feel better by talking about the wedding planing

"Do you still wanna get married in Hawaii?" He joked "remember in eleventh grade when you announced you wanted to get married in Hawaii?"

"I'm past that now, it's too much work to go all the way there"

"So you wanna get married here then?"

They were sitting at the dining room table and beck had a notebook and a pencil to jot everything down

"Yep, who should we invite?"

After almost two hours they had everything planned out from the food to the guest list.

They wanted a simple wedding since they had a limited amount of time to plan so for food they decided on small foods like pastas and salads as for dessert they chose a simple chocolate 2 tiered cake with real dark red roses around it

Jade only wanted to invite cat and Andre and his parents but beck insisted that they needed to invite tori, Trina, Robbie and maybe sikowitz as well because they were "their friends". he didn't want or need his extended family there since they were in Canada and them and jade had a mutual dislike for each other. Eventually she gave in but she said that they had to make sure Rex wasn't coming because was crossing a line. They also agreed to each have one bridesmaid and one groomsman who would be the maid of honour and the best man.
