Elle pov

Jaden got back from his date around 3 hours later. He came in quietly and closed the door behind him, leaning against it smiling. I was in the kitchen watching him.
"Good date?" I chuckled walking out of the kitchen
"Oh god she's amazing" he said, looking right at me. It seemed like he was in a dream. My stomach dropped. I don't know why.
I nodded slowly
"What?" He asked me, coming back to reality
"Nothing" I said and walked off.

I went into my room, holding a container or Nutella and breadsticks. I sat on my bed and started eating, before I pulled out my phone to watch something.
I saw a text from an unknown number

On my way

I started to panic. Jaden and I were the only people here, but I didn't want to ruin his day by telling him. I just decided to go outside and wait for chase.
I went to the front door, to see Jaden on the couches, on his phone.
"Bye I'm going for a walk" I said before quickly closing the front door behind me.
I let out a shaky exhale. I was nervous. I really was.

I waited outside for around 5 minutes, before I saw chases car roll down the road. I started to have second thoughts...maybe I should just go back inside. No I can't ruin Jaden day it isn't fair to him.
Chase pulled into the driveway, and got out of his car. I turned around to look at the house and saw an open window. I walked over to chase
"Hey" he said
"Can we go in the car please"
"Ya sure"
We got into the car and chase drove off.

After a few minutes of silence, chase spoke up.
"Where do you wanna go?"
"We aren't going anywhere. Why are you here?"
"Because I want you" he told me, causing me to shiver
"I love you and I know you love me" he added
"You cant stop loving someone. I do love you, but I'm NOT being with you. You hurt me"
"Go with your gut. If you love me, then be with me." "Unless there's another guy or something" he mumbled

Again?! Why does he keep coming to my head. This is bothering me.
"Nope" I said
"Not even Jaden"
"Besties, chase. You know that" I told him
He nodded his head
"So then let's go to the hype house. We can just chill" he said
"No I want you to take me back home"
He sighed
"Please"
"I really don't want to, but I will" he finally said
