Liz: nope
Sherri: he's not here by the way.
Liz: I wasn't looking for him.
Sherri: okay loser whatever you say.
Sherri walks away and Liz goes home.

Liz came home and noticed Luke and Reggie and told them the news.
Reggie: we're playing a school dance? Sweet!
Luke: it's not exactly the strip
Liz giggles and goes back to watering the plants
Reggie: and your not exactly alive so you should be happy we have our first gig
Liz: I wasn't in love with the idea at first either, but it could be a great way for us to build a following right?
Reggie:Yea. Yea. We need to play wherever we can, whenever we can.
Luke: no, your right. Let's rock those kids faces off  and then play the clubs!
Liz: and then record a single that gets a billion streams?
Luke: I don't know what that is but hopefully it gets us a manager and a tour.
Liz:then we release a bunch of hit albums
Reggie: our our a country album that does surprisingly well
The two gave Reggie a look and he shrugged.
Reggie: I shred on banjo so...
Liz: then I'll learn how to fiddle.
Luke: And before you know it, we're being inducted into rock and roll hall of fame.
Reggie: but one of us isn't there, because he had a blowout in 2032.
Liz and Luke looked at each other.
Reggie: my moneys on Alex. He's so sensitive.
Luke: what are we waiting for? Let's get rehearsing!
Liz: uh... where is Alex?

They started on songs then Alex appeared.
Reggie: oh hey Alex
Luke: where have you been? We need to start practicing.
Alex: yea? For what?
Flynn and Julie came in the room.
Flynn: dance news! I don't have a date. But I don't care because I'm so psyched to see you guys perform.
Alex: oh man! We're playing a dance?
Luke: of course dude. That's how we get a following nowadays.
Liz: yea! Get with the program Alex.
Flynn: what the guys are here?! Hey guys!
Julie: other way sweetie.
Flynn: oh (turns and waves)
Luke: okay well now that Alex has graced us with his presence can we start working?
Liz: yes we're gonna rehearse you wanna stick around?
Flynn: I'm supposed to blow up 500 balloons for the school dance but this sounds way better
Liz smiled as her brother walked in.
Carlos: hey Julie remember those orbs in dads pictures? I- i think they're ghost. But don't worry. This room is.. is.. (looks around) This room is clean I'm not getting the ghost tinglies
Reggie looked at Carlos and smiled.
Reggie: wrong again little dude.
Luke looked at Reggie and smiled.
Carlos: have no fear. If they come back I will protect you because I am the man of the house
Julie: isn't dad supposed to be the man of the house?
Liz: right.
Carlos: there can be two
Liz: let us know when you find the other one.
Carlos: dad needs all the help he can get right?
Liz and Julie chuckle at his response.
Carlos: according to the internet salt burns their souls out.
Liz and Julie give the boys a worried look
Carlos: a little sprinkle will keep them from ever coming in here.
The girls watch as he throws the salt. Reggie yells then Luke. Finally he throws it Alex's way
Alex: no! Oh my god! I'm.... I'm fine. I'm fine totally fine.
Julie looks at Fylnn before signaling her to take Carlos somewhere else.
Flynn: oh Carlos you know who's hungry? Me. Um salt me a path to the kitchen
They watch as Carlos and Flynn leave.
Alex: whew.
Liz: shall we try this again?
Luke: yes please but remind us later there's some sunset curve songs to show you.
Julie: ouu show is now.
Liz: yea
Luke: yea okay.
Luke went to grab his writing journal.
Luke: home is where my horse is. Reggie stop putting your country songs in my journal.
Reggie: that was a gift.
Luke: thanks buddy
Reggie: yea maybe you should circle back...
Luke gave the book to the girls.
Luke: I dog eared the one that I think you would slay.
Julie grabbed the book from her sister and looked through the pages. She stopped at one.
Julie: who's Emily?
Luke: that ones not dog eared.
Before Luke could grab the book Julie moved. She put the book down to read the lyrics.
Liz: give him it back Jules it's probably private
Julie: if you could only know that I never let you go. Wow Luke I didn't know you were such a romantic.
Alex: he's not. That ones actually about...
Luke: no one. Uh that's just something that I tried and...
He tried grabbing the book again but failed.
Luke: but if you go to the next dog eared page I got a turn that's just it's got a killer beat.
Andy grabbed the book from Julie and saw it. Luke grabs his guitar and starts playing the tune from his journal
Julie: so you wanna sample?
Luke: what do you mean sample?
Liz: sample someone else's music.
Julie: me and my mom used to sing that song at the top of our lungs all the time.
Liz: it's a classic Trevor Wilson song.
Luke: nope it's a classic our song
Reggie: pure sunset curve. Never even heard of Trevor Wilson.
Alex: maybe your mixing it up you know with another song.
Liz: no she isn't
Julie: I don't mix up songs trust me.
Liz: her and his daughter used to be best friends.
Julie: I used to hang out at their place all the time I know that song.
Alex: okay.
Julie: here
Liz's phone was ringing and she looked at Luke
Liz: I'll be right back
She walked outside and answered it.
Liz: hello
Ángela: so what happened with you and Justin?
Liz: he broke up with me for Sherri
Ángela: i heard he's a jerk
Liz: yea I can't believe him.
Ángela: ima hurt him for doing that.
Liz: it's okay maybe it was for the best
Ángela: he's taking her to the dance.
Liz: really?!
Ángela: my cousins in town though.
Liz: Jordan?
Ángela: your old crush yep
Liz: sounds fun.
Ángela: I'll see you tomorrow
Liz: okay.
Liz walked back inside and saw the band.
Liz: hey guys...
Luke: everything okay?
Liz: yea but I don't think I can perform Julie you could take my spot.
Julie: okay.
Liz: I'll be up in my room.
Julie: okay
Liz goes up to her room and gets a text.
Unknow: hey Elizabeth.

Liz: whose this?

Unknown: it's Jordan. Ángela gave me your number so we could start talking

Liz: oh how have you been ?

Jordan: pretty good you?

Liz: good how long you here for?

Jordan: half a year.

The rest of the day they spent texting until she fell asleep.
