"Have you heard about it, Madam?" Flora whispered behind my back while I was looking at Hunter, cooking something.

Nasa sala ako ng condo unit nila Hunter. After my work, I immediately went home. Hunter was seriously messing with my phone while I was at work. He kept on bugging me about what he was doing. Kahit hindi ko tinatanong.

"What?"

"They've been receiving hate from the recent concerts. People are talking about his unprofessional move of him and such." chismis niya sa akin.

Bumuntong hininga ako. Yeah, that was my fault. Ilang beses kong pinapagalitan si Hunter tungkol doon pero lagi siyang nananalo.

Clyvan and Cruzita isn't home yet. Mukhang may dinaanan pa raw sila sabi ni Hunter at hindi naman raw sila pareho ng schedule.

I sniffed the adobo he was cooking. I realized lately that maybe Flora's right for some reason. Mabuti nga't marunong magluto si Hunter kundi nganga kaming dalawa kung sakali. He's such an ideal husband type. The husband which you'd just find cooking in your dirty kitchen, topless and wearing an apron. The out of the blue, you'd just hug him from the back.

Ngumisi ako sa ideya.

Nang matapos kumain ay muli akong dumiretso sa unit namin. I changed my clothes and took a quick shower. Flora stayed at my sala so I stayed there, too. Nilingon ko ang cellphone ko upang tignan ang orasan. Its almost 10 and Hunter's texting me now.

Hunter : I didn't see you the whole day.

Kumunot ang noo ko. What the hell is he talking about? We just cuddled in the morning! I mean, well.. a bit?

Hunter : I'll drink while waiting for you. Are you awake?

Malakas na tumawa si Flora sa pinapanood. Nilingon niya ako at unti unting napawi ang tawa dahil sa kunot ng noo ko na si Hunter naman ang dahilan.

"Uuwi pa kaya si Cruzita?" she asked out of the blue.

Oo nga pala.

I shrugged. "Call her.."

Umirap siya. "I already did! Mago-overtime daw ang gaga. Sus! I bet she's with her boss again!"

"Ofcourse, Flor. Mago-overtime nga, 'diba?"

Nagtipa ako ng mensahe kay Hunter.

Me : What are you drinking?

Me : Where did your silly friend take Cruzita now?

Hunter : Whiskey.

Hunter : They're home.

Tumikhm ako at nilingon si Flora na galit din na nagtitipa sa cellphone niya.

"Don't worry about her. Umakyat ka na at ako na ang maghihintay sa kaniya." palusot ko.

Tumaas ang kilay niya. "Sure ka? E, baka hindi 'yon umuwi!"

"I'm sure she'll go home. Go to sleep, Flora. I can't sleep so I'll stay here for a while.."

Hinintay kong matapos ang bilin ni Flora tungkol sa TV bago siya umakyat. I made sure she closed her door before I turned of the TV and texted Hunter that I'd be there in a few.

And just like that, I saw him on their counter while leaning and topless. May hawak siyang baso ng whiskey at bote nga ng whiskey doon. I glared at her when he raised his eyebrow and surveyed me with his dirty eyes.
