Watched hbomberguys rwby vid today and i can believe they made a character specifically themed after the colour white with white clothes, white hair, lily white skin, a name that sounds like white AND made her come from a rich family that is supposedly a special bloodline going far back because they have a hereditary superpower which is unique in this world (the hereditary thing i mean) AND gave her a german surname (which means snow) AND outright had her be explicitly racist and CALLED OUT ON THAT RACISM BY A PERSON OF THE RACE SHE WAS PREJUDICE TOWARDS and then instead of her having a character arc they just retconned it out of her so she could be likeable
