Chapter 23: Animation Department?

Start from the beginning

Although, I don't blame them. Even I don't like those Wandering Is a Sin cutouts.

I didn't even know that place they are in existed.

"What original drawing of Bendy?" I say to myself.

"The original Bendy sketch that Henry drew." Linda replies.

"Where is it?"

"Probably on his des-"

I disappear into the ink before she finishes her sentence. I appear at the other side of the ink lake, in front of a lone desk in the corner. I walk over to it and look at the sketch.

Immediately after seeing it I become furious

Immediately after seeing it I become furious

Why did Joey reject the original sketch! It looks so much better than the one in the cartoons!

I then become jealous.

Why couldn't I look like that?

I decide to grab the sketch, careful so I'm not messing up the drawing, I then fold it up and store it away.

I then go back to where Linda is.

"Did you find it?"

I take out the drawing and show it to her.

Wait a minute. . .
"If you were dead when you gave birth, how are you here, and how did you know what happened to Henry?"

She seems to be thinking, I wait.

"I had help from a friend."

"What friend?"

"Its. . . Hard to explain."

"Did your friend tell you what happened or did you watch?"

"He showed me what happened."

"How-"

"Let's just say that he has been waiting a very long time for the children to be free and Afton to be sent to hell so he can suffer the consequences of his actions."

I look at her, annoyed.
"Can you at least tell me how he sent you here?"

"I walked into a lake."

". . . . What?"

"That is what happened."

"I'm. . . Not even going to question it. . ."

I sit down on my throne. I decide to continue looking for any signs of He-, no, that creature isn't Henry. . The wanna-be-Ink-Demon, or those empty shells of ink who call themselves rebels. . . It is easier to say than empty shells of ink. .

Several minutes pass. And the moment I look through the eyes of a cutout I hear growling and then darkness I immediately jump out of the throne, putting my hands to my head growling in annoyance. It hurts when they break, especially when I'm looking through them.

"Are you okay?" Linda asks, she sounds worried.

I bite back a sarcastic reply.
"Yeah. . . Just a cutout broke when I was looking through it. ."

It definitely was not the rebels who broke it.

Must have been the 'Ink Demon'.

After several minutes I sit down again, I know the general area where he was. If I manage to find him again without him breaking the cutout I could easily get to him.

I do have a plan, a plan Linda definitely won't like, but it's a plan nonetheless. She didn't even come up with any plans herself. . . She probably didn't think she'll make it this far, and I don't blame her for not thinking past 'convince him to help save Henry'.

If this plan manages to work, he'll be free from Joey but not this world. . .

Once he's free from Joey, then we'll figure out how to get him out of here.

Linda convincing me to help was step one.

Finding him is step two.
Getting to him is step three.
Freeing him from Joey is step four.
Getting him out of here is step five.

After about an hour I manage to find him- well, not him, but his web-like ink.

What's he doing in the music department? Is he on his way to Heavenly Toys?

Doesn't matter, I now know where he is.

I get off of the throne and I walk over to the 'glass cells'.

I make sure that the rebirth is on, I then make sure that all of the tubes are empty of any creatures. Next I shut down all of the tubes except for one.

I walk back to the throne, I grab The End off the floor next to it.

It's being held together by ink. It broke twice, I don't know what breaking it a third time will do. . Probably the same thing as the last two times. I'll just have to make sure Joey's corrupt ink doesn't get to him first.
