(okay so um steve hasn't done the nursery yet because um... valentine's day. Ik he said he will ge started tomorrow but like yeah)

Steve woke up at around 9 30 and blinked a couple of times, trying to adjust to the bright sun blinding him. He turned to see Bucky sleeping on his stomach peacefully. It was their first Valentine's Day as a married couple. Steve knew it was Valentine's Day but his husband didn't know he knew yet. Steve also knew that Bucky wouldn't do anything for him because the sargent likes being pampered. Rogers had a whole day planned. He would pretend he didn't know it was Valentine's Day but in the evening, he will set up a beautiful dinner (with Natasha's help of course). He got out of bed, rubbed his eyes and went into the shower. Steven pushes open the shower door, the steam bursts out all around him, he walks out and emerges from the smoke, his muscles rippling, and covered in droplets of water trickling down his skin. He grabs a towel, and ruffles it through his hair, before slinging around his neck, and walking out butt-ass-naked. Bucky notices his husband's lack of clothes and blushes heavily, he tightens up and Steve put on his boxers, sweatpants and a sweatshirt, winks at Bucky -whos eyeing him up and down- and walks out the room leaving his partner sexually flustered and with blue balls.
Bucky quickly jumps out of bed and takes a shower. He put on some blackish-blue jeans with a dark green t-shirt and a flannel shirt over it and quickly ran downstairs to see Steve reading the paper on the couch, with Friends playing on in the background, eating a pop tart.

Bucky's POV
I can't believe he did that. How could he walk out the shower looking like a whole meal and not even kiss me. Like it's just plain evil. I walked to the couch and jumped over it, landing on Steve's stomach.
"AHHHHH SHIT BUCKYYYYY"
"Language Cap"
He pushed me off his stomach, making me fall to my knees. I took this as an opportunity. I crawled over to him and grazed his thigh with the palm of my hand. I started palming his crotch, making him flinch.

No one's POV
"Buck. What are doing?" Steve asked putting the paper on his stomach. He quickly sat up leaving Bucky annoyed.
"Cmon doll. Do you know what day it is today?" he asked in a thick Brooklyn accent
"No...."
"Oh um...nvm then"
Bucky got up and sat on a different couch, hurt from what Steve just said. The blonde saw the pain in his sweetheart's eyes. He felt really bad for him but had to be strong so he doesn't ruin the surprise. They went on with their day. Steve went out to buy some healthy alternatives of the food the children brought for himself. (yes children because they act like it😂)
Bucky hardly talked to him after the whole rejection thing in the morning.

(It's 6 45 here⬇)
Steve went into the living room and saw Bucky napping on the couch. He decided to sit next to him because he felt bad. Bucky woke up suddenly at the feeling of the couch going down a bit.
"Hey babe"
"hey" he said softly before grabbing the remote
"Bucky. Talk to me. What's happened to you today. You've been avoiding me at every chance you've had. Have I done something wrong. Talk to me"
"Done something wrong?. Steve, it's Valentine's Day today and you haven't done anything. You didn't get me flowers, no chocolates, no fluffy teddy bears (lol) and you haven't kissed me all day. So you tell me. Have you done anything wrong" Bucky said staring at Steve who was playing with his thumbs.
*Ping*
Steve took out his phone and saw a message from Natasha.

All ready cap😉

🙄 Thanks Romanoff I really appreciate it.

👍

Steve got up and walked out. Bucky ran his fingers through his hair. He got up, frustrated and followed Steve out the room.
"STEVE! LOOK AT ME. YOU CANT TELL ME TO TALK TO YOU AND THEN IGNORE ME. WHATS THE POINT" he shouted as the reached the roof. Steve turned around to Bucky who was tying his hair in a half up-half down style, frowning. Steve held the handle and winked at Bucky before opening the door to an beautiful scene.
