Tani's POV
"Tani!" my mum screamed from downstairs
I remained still hoping that she would not yell again.
"Tanitoluwa!" she yelled again even more loudly
"Yes mummy!" I yelled running down the stairs
"Why are you still sleeping?" she asked once I got downstairs
"Mummy I slept late yesterday night"
"What were you doing?"
"I was packing" I rubbed my eyes
"Go and shower and get dressed we need to get to the hair salon" she ordered
I dashed upstairs and closed the door of my room behind me and stared at my half empty box. I ran the water in my shower and waited for the temperature to get to hot, while waiting I went on Whatsapp and scrolled through my previous chats.
"Tanitoluwa Ajoke Akande!" My elder brother David barged into my room.
"Are you alright!" I yelled back
"I am" he responded "Mummy said you should get ready fast and eat breakfast before you both leave"
"Okay, did you have to scream my name?"
"Does it matter?" He left
"Nuisance" I hissed
"Tani! Stop wasting water!" I heard my mum yell
"Oh My God I forgot about my shower" I ran into my bathroom

Kelechi's POV
I stepped out of the warm shower and dried my body. I had said a little prayer to God yesterday night that I wouldn't have malaria, but waking up today I can already tell that I do have it.
"Mummy" I said to my mum who was sitted on the dining table "I feel sick"
"Malaria?" She asked and I nodded "We have to go to the hospital, get dressed"
"Okay mum" I walked upstairs and scattered my closet looking for something to wear.
"Where are you and mummy going to?" My elder sister, Nneka knocked on my door, she would be going to SS3.
"The hospital" I answered
"I'm going to Ella's house this afternoon" She said
"Don't tell me, tell mummy" I said bringing out my high waisted jeans
"Whatever" She scoffed and left
"Whatever" I mimicked her "You won't go and read for your WAEC"

Kasi's POV
"Kamara!" I yelled my for my sister
"Chill I'm here" She dashed down and ran out of the door where I was. I closed the door and locked it then ran into the car.
"What hairstyle are you guys doing?" My mum asked and the driver started the car
"I'm doing box braids, I'm not sure about Kasi, you know she likes doing crazy hairstyles" Kamara said chewing her gum and fixing her natural hair that she had braided.
"I'm doing box braids" I rolled my eyes at Kamara and looked through my unread messages
