Chapter 18: Sick

Ryder's POV

After Caleb and Farrah left for their date and stuff we decided to play twister.

"Chase get your fat ass outta my face!" Logan yelled at Chase.

"Get your face out of my butt!" Chase shot back

"Fine I'm done, I don't like his butt in my face." Logan complained.

"Logan!" Claire jumped on Logan.

"Okay let's continue. Left hand on blue." Nicole instructed us.

"Ryder watch out!" Helen (Nicole and Kaitlyns mom) yelled at me.

But before I could react she came tumbling down. My face to the floor and Helen on top of me.

"Mom are you all right?" Kaitlyn asked helping her mother up.

"Yup! I had a pretty soft landing thanks to Ryder" Helen said.

"No problem." I breathed out getting up and cracking my back.

"That's sounds gross." Kaitlyn grimaced as I did it again.

"Ya, but it feels great." I winked at her.

"Lets go again!" Matthew exclaimed.

"Ugh." we all groaned.

"What?" he asked innocently.

*4 hours later*

"Mom...can't ....breath." Nicole tried to say.

It was time to go and I was going to miss their family. They were fun loud and always laughing.

"Wait Caleb and Farrah just got back you gotta say goodbye." Kaitlyn pleaded as Caleb's truck pulled in the drive way.

Farrah hoped out ran into Helen's arms.

"Auntie Helen my mom kicked me out can I stay with you guys?" Farrah asked in a hushed voice.

I looked over to Caleb and he shook his head telling me not to asked. So I kept my mouth shut.

"Of course sweetie. Your always welcomed." Helen advised her and started petting her hair in a comforting way.

"Thank you." Farrah voice croaked.

"No problem. Now kids you be good, don't get into to much trouble cause I'm not bailing you out." Helen winked at it.

"Mommy I wanna keep teddy! Pwes!" Claire begged holding onto Logan who looked kinda scared.

"Claire you know Logan is not a bear. You can't keep him, I think he belongs to Jules." Will teased Jules.

"Uncle!" Jules playfully hit Will.

"Jules and Logan sitting a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G" Chase and Matthew sung together.

"Chase." Logan glared at Chase.

"What?" Chase asked playing innocent.

"Shut up." Logan gave him one last look and faced back to Helen saying goodbye.

"He scares me. How can sweet little Claire think of him as a teddy bear?" Chase asked staring shock at Logan.

"I have no idea." I muttered.

Logan's POV

When Nicole and Kaitlyns family left we went inside to watch a movie.

"Achoo!" Jules sneezed all over Chase.

"Ewe!" Chase screeched and ran to the kitchen to wash off the snot.

"That was funny." Xavier laughed.
