When I had finally gained consciousness it was when I was 4 years old.

My new name was Kagome Higurashi.

I lived on a shrine with my mother, my baby brother named Souta, and my grandfather.

Oh. And we had a kitten named Buyo.

Unlike in the anime, Souta and I have different dads.

My sperm donor apparently was a French businessman that had visited Japan for work.

He met my mom.

They fell in love.

And 9 months later they had me.

But he was in an arranged marriage.

They separated.

But he still kept in touch with mom about my life and milestones.

It was 1 year after that mom met Saito.

He was a very kind Japanese man.

Mom was smitten and they married when I was 3.

9 months later Souta was born.

Then Saito died.

Car accident.

Mom was devastated but she had 2 kids under the age of 5 to take care of.

So she moved back to Higurashi Shrine to live with her father and the rest is history.

Expect did I mention I was a blonde with blue/grey eyes!!!!

Like seriously Kagome was supposed to have black hair and brown/blue eyes.

And since I already failed at being the original Kagome my new plan is to just wing it.

What could go wrong?
