"It's okay if you don't wanna talk ab-..." i say before she interrupted. "She didn't like me, she didn't like me being around someone". Another different emotion displayed on her face, Regret.

"I don't understand, could you explain further" I try persuading her, maybe she is as broken as me.

"She made me suffer just because she didn't want him around me. I even told her i wasn't meeting him but he was the one meeting me, yet, she still hurt me all because of him. My life before was so much better not until i met him and it completely turned upside down. i tend to understand why all these keep happening? What did i ever do to get hurt like that? What did i ever do to get threatened, not wanting to live and enjoy a normal life in high school makes me so sick. I...I...I, I just wanted to make mum...mum proud including dad and everyone but why does it feel like I'm seeing seeing a very different future, why?"

I couldn't even tell whether i was tutoring a student anymore. She was in pain, a kind of emotional pain. She looked as if she wanted to cry, with her face down and her fingers tapping the end of the desk. I don't still understand the concept of her story but the tension and stiffness of the room needs to end ASAP.

"That's enough, today we are going to be having a revision of what you were taught last in school and we are done for the day"I collect the marker from the side table and wrote maths.

"What's your best subject?" I ask and her face suddenly brightened up.

"MATHS!!!" She shouted to the top of her voice, I think my eardrums almost broke out. Her mood is good just by the sound of maths, she must really love maths and be good at it.

"Oh ok, where did you guys stop in your last lesson"

I wonder why I told my tutor what happened, although, I didn't tell him every single thing but he still listened. And Immediately he asked that question, all the blood in me just vanished and I felt a little light-headed, recalling all that has happened to me still baffles me, and all on top of that, I still used to talk to that demonic somebody whose name is tobe.

How did things end up becoming this complicated? Just how?

Uncle Caleb left earlier ago, the lesson was pretty uncomfortable, noticing the way he looks at me like he wants to eat me or something. Doesn't he know he's obvious?

I wonder what's happening in school now. I just hope my name has cleared from the "NEW SCHOOL GIST" list because as you're seeing me, I don't want any wahala(trouble).

I just hope things are gonna turn out well.

God, I miss rume around the school with me. We're not always hanging out like we use to before. Those slutty pests, I will soon have my hands on those witches...soon.

The school has been so boring with shitty students gossiping about what has been happening lately. To be exact, I mean "Rume's incident". Every corner of the school. there's no way I would hear rume's name from their mouths. Every time it's always 'Guy, I heard she even had severe irritation, If you see her face ehh, you will weep'. And as you all know, You should definitely know the kind of girl that I am.

Omoo... I mess them up, I shushed their mouths up to the point of beating. But sadly, I couldn't do it to every person that gossiped knowing that they were my seniors...God, that kind of thing dey painn!(That shit is so painful).

Right now, We are having English for class and mIss Fidelia walks with her textbook just beside her.

"Good Morning class," She says.

"Afternoon ma" we all respond holding in our laughter. It's 1:43 pm and she's saying Good morning, O my God.

"Shut up!!!" She yells and continues.

"Instead of you to correct me nicely, you make fun of me. Can't you just be mature for once in your life" She yells again? This woman sef ehh, Abeg teach and get out.

"In your dreams!" Someone from the back yells and everybody bust into fits of laughter, even me dey laugh my own...ahh God, this woman has suffered in our hands.

She hisses and writes English, date, and topic on the board. She then closes her marker and opens the textbook.

"Class, today we are going to be learning ab-..." Not before another teacher enters the class making everyone's attentions turn to the door.

"Miss Fidelia, may I have a moment, please" Mr. Benard, a chemistry teacher says before they both head out of the class. Is there something wrong?

Seconds passed and they were back inside the classroom. Miss Fidelia looks around and says, "Whose the best in basic science"

Why are they asking this now?

A girl stands and says, "The best in basic science is not in school due to some issues but the second best is simi, and she's sitting over there" The girl points at me and everyone's gaze lands on me.

"Are you the second-best in basic science" Miss Fidelia asks and i nod nervously.

"Follow Mr. Benard" She said and i stood up slowly feeling everyone's gaze at me. My blood starts boiling, Why are they staring at me sef?

I starts walking still feeling everyone's gaze at me before i exploded.

"Will you stop looking at me and listen to the DAMN TEACHER" I yell making everyone gasps at me outburst. With that everybody averted their eyes to miss fidelia.

"Better..." With that i walk out of the class and followed Mr. Benard.

"Simi, so you are very goog in basic science right? I just need you to do a favor for me. You know SS1C right?" He says.

Wait, SS1C. That's...that's Josh's class.

I swallow saliva and nodded.

"Good, SSIC students weren't able to answer a very simple question i gave them, so I'm gonna give you the question in front of SS1C students, and if you can answer it. SS1C students will feel ashamed. Do you understand?"He explained and I nodded slowly.

Is josh gonna feel ashamed? What if I fail the question and everyone laughs at me. Or even worse, I fail, and josh laughs and looks at me as if I'm trash. Goddd...

We finally arrive in front of the class. Mr. Benard walks in and gestured his hands for me to walk in. I could already hear hisses and growls from inside the class.

I took a deep breath, adjusted myself, and put on my cute innocent face before walking in. I hope you're watching this, Josh.

I walked in the class feeling everyone gaze at me. i looked around and spotted josh at the corner end but i didn't make look obvious i was staring at him for long. i walked and stood beside Mr. Benard.

"If this JSS2 girl can-..." Did this man just call me a JSS2 girl, ehnn.

"Sir, it's not JSS2 girl, it's simi...Simi, say it, simi" I said it like as if i was teaching him and everybody in the class started laughing making Mr. Benard frown but he continues anyways. I wonder if Josh laughed.

"okay, So simi is the second best in basic science in her class and if she can solve the question, she would make a fool out of you guys, hmm" He finishes.

''So where's the question, huh" I ask Mr. Benard.

"Here..." He says.
