I have always thought that the day I fall in love it will be like those love stories in the movies, but in a cruel way, I came face to face with reality.
Because Prince Charming only appears in movies and not real life, I learned that in a painful way..

Hi, my name is Karina Rain, however my friends call me Rina, I'm twenty one , well I just clocked that age, I am tall,  chocolate skinned, I have  vague hair tone and I am also the last child of my family.
A family of three children, with a mom and dad, a grand total of five living in a not so big house, but we love it anyways.

I always hear people alter how fun and relaxing being  the last child was, which was entirely  different from mine.

Although my family provided me with anything I wanted, the only problem was I lived under lock and key, that is to say, I had very stringent parents,  and glimpsing I am  the last child, all eyes were on me.
Literally everyone had their tentacles on knowing where I was?, With whom.

I can't do anything, without my family, nosing in.

And with a little slip up from my path, I'm likely to be disowned.
Yes! That's how stuck up and strict my family is.

Apart from that little detail, they groomed me with love and care.

Hence I cannot bear to break my family's trust in me, my happiness was their happiness, and my sadness was theirs also.

"Good morning sunshine" mom says as she  walks into my bedroom.

"Good morning mummy" I raised from the bed with my SpongeBob pajamas on.

"Have your bath, while I lay out your clothes on the bed for you" mom says to me, as I walked off to the bathroom.

I hit the door behind me.

After that, I came out dressed.
Everyone was at the table, having breakfast, I walked in on them and pulled out a chair to sit.
.

"Breakfast is served" mom walks out of the kitchen with a bowl of hot soup.
Our eyes clinged and she winked at me..
Which made me shy away.

Mom places the bowl at the center of the table, she turns to my dad and asks him to pray..

Dad isn't the churchy type, but he seems to be more spiritual than my mom, and maybe anyone else in the family..

We go to church every Sunday and back together.

"Bow your heads,"..
Said dad, after placing the face of his phone upside down.

As we all bowed our heads to pray, I felt my legs anxiously hitting on the ground.
All of a sudden I felt uneasy.

After praying, mom served us each on our plates. I was the last to be served and immediately the soup filled up my plate, I carried my spoon and hastily  sipped it..

"Take it easy please,"
Dani, my sister, said to me.

I heaved up my head and everyone seemed to just stare at me.
That caused me to choke.

I coughed.

Immediately mom rushed to my aid, she passed a cup of water and helped me take it..

I drank a little water, so I could clear my throat before talking.

"Thank you mom,".. I said..
She kept the glass on the table and gently caressed my hair..
"Baby, are you okay,"..
She inquired, making everyone worried .
As I shook my head and answered.
"I'm fine, thank you mom,".
I said again.

Mom nodded and went back to her seat.
I barely tried to rest on my chair, when my elder brother, Grant, chose to reprimand me..

"Try not to rush your food next time okay,".
He angrily said...

Like I literally wasn't rushing my food.
I wouldn't have had my food stuck on my throat if Dani didn't have to be a  brute.
She's to be blamed for what happened and not me.

I smiled at my brother and excused myself from the table...

Grant can be a dick sometimes..

I came back to my bedroom.
Alone, I felt like going through the photos I snapped with my friends at the last semester in college.

So I brought out my phone.

I scanned through the funny and crazy picture I took with my friends. That's when I  passed a picture I had taken six month ago with someone I thought was going to be my forever.

Yes, sounds cliche right?..
But that's the truth, that's how I felt being with him..

Six months ago I met a guy on Facebook
Although I do not believe in meeting friends on social media, I found him, or can we say we found each other?..
