DAWN WAS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, THEIR daughter didn't inherit Remus' condition. As the first full moon since Hope's birth was coming up, Dawn noticed Remus' worried expressions. He seemed to watch their girl a lot more intently, checking for any sign of the condition. Dawn tried easing his nerves, telling him that she was only fussing because she was a baby and it had nothing to do with the full moon. When the full moon finally came, Remus went out into his shed whilst Dawn stayed up and this time, instead of looking out of the window, cursing at the moon, she was sat besides Hope's crib, watching as the baby girl slept peacefully.

She only started fussing at around three in the morning (her usual fussy time that caused Dawn's sleeping pattern to become incredible messed up). Dawn fed her daughter, burped her and changed her before the girl fell asleep on her mother's chest and it certainly didn't take long for Dawn to follow.

Once the morning arrived, Remus tiredly made his way back to the house. As soon as he entered he couldn't help but sigh in relief, the cottage was completely quiet which surely was a good sign, right? Rushing towards their shared bedroom, Remus couldn't help but sigh in relief when his eyes landed on his fiancé and daughter, both of them fast asleep.

He could feel his heart swelling with joy as he quietly shut the door. As silently as he could, the werewolf made his way over to the bed and sat on his side, a tired smile graced his features as he softly reached his hand up, moving some stray strands of hair off of Dawn's face. Leaning over, he softly pressed his lips to her forehead before doing the same to their daughter.

Moving back, he frowned as he watched Dawn beginning to stir and when her eyes finally opened and spotted Remus sitting there they widened in shock, "Did I fall asleep?" She questioned, her voice full of sleep, "I'm sorry, are you-are you okay?"

Remus chuckled softly and nodded, placing his hand on hers and squeezing it, "Don't be sorry, you were tired. I'm more than okay," He told her, grinning tiredly, "You were right," He nodded his head at the sleeping baby, who seemed at peace on her mother's chest.

Dawn beamed up at him, "I'm always right."
