Of course, this is an AU of mine, where monsters were never trapped in the Underground as punishment for losing the war. Instead, the victorious humans cruelly forced them to stay and suffer as slaves.

After a long political battle of protests and meetings, the monsters finally found peace.

However, humans had their own conditions in mind.

And thus, the borders were formed, so that humans and monsters may stay out of each other's way, and never come in contact with one another.

But, as you may know, people don't listen. People never listen.

There were those foolish few who tried crossing the border. Some were shot in the head, others made it across.

One thing to keep in mind: once you've crossed the border, you are no longer part of the society you left behind.
You've joined the opposing side, whichever one that may be.

No one will be there to save you, should you get into trouble.

With that said, let's get into this maliciously divided world!
