When Frisk escapes from her ruined life, she finds herself living in a mansion with a family of three eccentric skeletons, holding on...
"Nothing to worry about. The two of you just head home for today, alright?"
He patted Frisk on the head with a reassuring smile. It didn't help ease her though. If anything, his smile was making things worse.
"Papyrus," Frisk began, choosing her words carefully. "I still have many questions to ask you. Whenever you're free, maybe we could sit down for a chat?"
Papyrus's smile did not falter.
"Of course." Horses clopped down the driveway, coming to a stop right where they stood.
Sans, who had been stood off to the side, entered the carriage immediately. Frisk hesitated. Her heart hadn't calmed yet, and her hands still shook.
"You won't see me for a few days," said Papyrus. "I've got some business to attend to.
"But of course, as soon as possible" - he winked - "a chat."

tell me the truth, my dear, it will all be fine. i will protect you from even my own kind.
Frisk woke up to birds noisily singing outside her window. That morning, something felt off. The house was a little too quiet.
Miserably recalling yesterday's occurrence, Frisk shuddered. A thought- what if Sans hadn't been there to save her?
She put her fingertips together. It felt like electricity, and not the good kind. Just the very touch sent goosebumps and crackling sparklers bursting under her skin.
Frisk slapped herself twice to get to her senses. While washing and dressing herself, she tried to focus on other things instead. Like the unusually quiet atmosphere of the manor. It didn't feel quiet right.
In the dining room, she was quite unexpectedly met with a single silent skeleton.
Sans.
"It's ten." He looked at her judgmentally. "You slept for thirteen hours."
Frisk rolled her eyes and flipped her hair behind her shoulder. "I had been traumatized last night. I have a right to sleep more."
