No strings attached _ Sasori x Reader

Chapter 2

"Beautiful presentation, puppet" Sasori whispered to himself.

Your POV

After the fight, Pain led everyone inside. "Kakuzu, Hidan, Kisame, Itachi, Tobi, Zetsu, Konan, Deidara, and Sasori" He said in his monotone voice, introducing each member as he walks by them. 

"What about you, un?" Deidara sais, leaning on your shoulder. Once again, all eyes were on you. You stared at Deidara, deep in his eyes. "Y/n" you said slowly and calmly, letting your low and soft voice fill that quiet and big room. "Uhm, it's, um, nice to meet ya, un" He backed away, slightly flustered.

"I'll show you your room" Konan said, leading you through a long hall as the others kept on with their day. She led you to a room, hers apparently, and searched through a big closet. You look around, her room has a very traditional design, and many origamis lined up on her table.

"Let me know if this one doesn't fit" Konan says, handing you the cloak. She then grabs your hand, leading you to another room, seemingly empty. You notice she's curiously staring at your hand. "Is everything alright?" you ask tilting your head slightly to the side. "Oh, yes, I'm sorry, I just thought your hands would be just like Sasori's" She says releasing your hand. You slightly smile and nod your head. "May I ask why?" She insists. You sigh "I am not entirely sure either, I guess my body is only able to reach this point" She nods and gives you a friendly smile "Let me know if there's anything else you need, Konan says before closing the door as she leaves.

You remove the cloak you were wearing, replacing it with the Akatsuki one. "It's a new start" you thought before laying on the bed. You never actually needed to sleep, but it would make time go faster, it was your only way to escape your boring life. Before you can finish your thoughts, someone knocks on your door. You get up and open it, only to see Tobi waiting outside.

"Come on! Come play with Tobi" He says pulling you to the main room, he seems to be the only bubbly person in this place. You see Kakuzu, Deidara, and Kisame playing with cards, along with Sasori and the Uchiha who were only sitting by the sofa. 

"Can we play it too?" Tobi says sitting by them, pulling you so you sit too. "Is she going to play too?" Kakuzu asks. You shrug, but Tobi puts his hands on your shoulders saying "Please please play too"  Before you can reply Sasori roughly closes his book, getting up and disappearing into his room.

"Is he always like that?" You ask. "Sometimes" Kisame says, handing you a couple of cards. "Don't worry too much, Sasori isn't the most friendly around here"  You not, and the game starts.

Now there were only you and Kakuzu, all the others were out because of their weak hand of cards. Kakuzu was serious, staring deep in your soul, he seems to be the type who really cares about money. You both hand in your cards, revealing the winner. The angry look on Kakuzu's face made it clear that you won. "What are you gonna do with all this money, un?" Deidara asks. You think to yourself for a bit, before returning the money to each of them. "What the hell are you doing?" Kakuzu grunts. "I don't really need it, but it was nice playing with you" You say handing his money. Kakuzu sighs and takes it from your hand, you swear you saw him smirking a bit under his mask.

__time skip__

You were sitting on your bed, daydreaming again. It was really late, you assumed everyone was already asleep. You hugged both of your knees and started watching the sky by the window. As you get up you notice a pretty lake not far from the hideout, you thought for a bit, before deciding that going out for a while wouldn't get you in too much trouble. You slowly reached the entrance and hoped that no one heard the doors opening.
