Prologue

I opened my heavy eyelids to be greated by the dark room i live. No. I don't live here on my own will. I'm forced to live in this hell hole.

I tried to stand up only to fall back on the cold floor. I guess the beating i got last night did a great job.

After a lot of failed attempts of standing up, i gave up. I felt tears run down my face, soon followed by my soft sobs.

What did i do to deserve this constant pain?

Suddenly, the door opened. I winced as the bright light invaded my vision. I blinked a few times to clear my blurry vision.

I looked back at the door. I could make out the outline of a person. I didn't say anything, because i know who it is.

"well, well, well. Look who is finally awake." i heard a deep voice say making me shiver in disgust. The voice that brought nightmares to me 7 years ago. The voice that i hated the most.

"aren't you going to say good morning to me, darling?" he asked. He walked into the room.

"as if it is a good morning" i croaked. "you have quite the mouth, sweetheart. But i will warn you. Keep it shut. You don't want to anger my son" he said.

"f*ck you, Darco. I would never mate your son. Ever." i spat. "oh but you will. You don't have a choice. Besides my son already likes you. You will mate him the day you turn 18" he said evily before he left closing the door behind him.

A minute or so later, the door opened again. And in came a guy. He had black hair with hazel eyes. He kneeled beside me. "hello, baby" he said putting his hand on my cheeks.

"don't touch me, jerk." i gritted out. "don't tell me what to do" Xavier growled. "i will. You don't own me." i growled back.

"shut up! You are mine. I own you. And you will obey me." his eyes shifted to red.

"i won't" i said.

"don't test me mate." he said in a low voice.

"I'm not your mate" i glared at him.

He growled and the next thing i knew was he was on me. He pinned my arms above me. His eyes glistened with lust. I started struggling. "let go!"

"you deserve to be punished, baby" with that he smashed his lips on mine. He kissed me roughly. He bit my lower lip hard drawing blood. He growled angrily because i didn't kiss back.

He moved his lips from my lips to jaw and then to my neck. He started kissing and licking on my neck.

"stop! Let me go!" i cried out. I yelled for help. But i knew. I knew that no one will help me.

As soon as i heard the sound of his zipper, i froze.

No. This can't happen again. I won't let this.

And so, i did the first thing that came to my mind. I kicked his balls. He let out a cry of pain and rolled of me clutching his thing.

And i knew this is my only chance.

With a new found courage, with a new found strength, with a new found purpose. I stood up. I ran out of the open door.

As soon as the soft wind hit me, my heart filled with happiness and joy that i never felt in the past 7 years. I let out a laugh of happiness and ran as fast as i can in to the wood.

I heard the voice of them behind me as i ran through the wood.

Suddenly i felt a wave of air pass around me. It was a powerful force i knew since i was only a kid. I let out laugh as i felt the force envelope me in it.

Soon after i heard the sound of water. I ran towards it and saw a big lake.

"stop there! Right now!" i turned around to see Darco and Xavier. Instead of being scared this time i gave them one of my million dollar smirks.

"i think it's time to say goodbye" i smiled sweetly.

And with that i jumped into the lake. I swam to the place where i used to call home. The place which still is and will always be my home.
