Hello darlings!

I'm sorry if the last chapter was kind of shorter than usual, but I decided to just give you all a hint of what happened in their future! :)

Btw,

if you're interested, here's my thought process of developing the idea of some characters or interactions in the story!

In all honestly, I created Hime Ume to be like the usual protagonist in Oikawa fanfics. The girl who is stubborn and strong but Oikawa is determined to desperately get her attention—the girl we aspire to be but we actually aren't because we're simps for him, lol. Hence, I kind of developed Ume and Oikawa's relationship the same way the usual stories would go. Oikawa liking her first and trying to get her to be his girl and then she eventually falls in love with his kind acts. However, I obviously included the main protagonist to be the intervention of the two's relationship. Even though I did intentionally make Ume attracted to Oikawa—due to Y/n's charms—I do actually think that if Y/n and Oikawa never swapped bodies, Ume would still, eventually, fall in love with Oikawa because he really is such a gem and kind-hearted being. 🥺

Also, I intentionally made Oikawa more 'attractive'—if that's what you can call it—once Y/n entered his body. This is because I believe that if someone has similar attributes as your best friend, you can help but fall in love because you love your best friend. Hence, Y/n and Ume had that friendship love. So, don't be mean to Ume-chan 🥺 she didn't do anything wrong.

In addition, it's kind of funny reading your guys' comments saying that they were practically complimenting themselves lol! My writing at some points did sound like they were practically falling in love with their own looks and lips, but I kind of wanted to clarify what I meant in the descriptions. For example, "seeing your smile made Oikawa blush." I meant her action of smiling so happily made Oikawa feel his heart go doki doki--not necessarily his own blushing expression haha.

Anyways,

I'm very thankful for those who read this book! 😭💗 I wasn't sure if it was going too well and if I liked it, but I stayed persistent and in the end, I think it turned out fine. I also am 100% sure I need to re read the story to fix a LOT of grammar mistakes, but for those who stuck through it all, I'm grateful.

I love you all and wish for you guys to stay safe during these rough times. 💖

Love, Author-chan🌸
