𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕 4: 𝑵𝒐𝒚𝒂 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑻𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒌𝒂

 {𝑲𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒚𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒔 𝑷𝑶𝑽}

Fuck! My heart took over my body. Everything was surreal as I skimmed out the door chased after him. He was running far ahead of me with tears flying off his face. My legs are longer than his maybe I can catch up. Everything I did, Everything I said, did I mess it all up. The walls blurred by as Kageyama chased Hinata down the halls, his straight black hair flowing behind him, his lungs heavy in his chest, and his heart lurched in his throat. Pit pat pit pat . They continued down the hallway like children playing a game of tag around a school yard. A light bulb in Kageyama's head lit up. Hes, Hes not crying anymore. Sounds still released from Hinatas throat as the boy behind him observed him. Then whats that noise?

{??'𝒔 𝑷𝑶𝑽}

A smile creeped to my cheeks as I peaked my head around the corner bottling my laughter inside me. 

"Hes gonna kill us" the boy next to me spit out, holding back just as much excitement as I was

"Its worth it" I shrugged 

He snickered as I pulled my head back around the corner, my back plastered against the wall. Mt shirt cemented to my t-shirt under my black volleyball jacket with sweat. I heard footsteps in the distance. Hes never gonna forget this one. Thoughts stood in the back of my mid of how he would react but that didn't matter. All that mattered was that me and my best friend where going to make this a training camp our king would never forget. The taller male next to me let out a huff of laughter as I jumped to smack him on the head.

"Not yet you're gonna ruin ittttttt" I whined

He nudged me off 

"Calm down they probably can't even hear us. I can't wait to see that look on his face"

"Oooh the rest of the team WISHES they could be as cool as us!" I crossed my arms and smirked

He ran his hand across his head and joined me in position

"Damn straight they do."

We burst out into howls of laughter, tears flowing out of our eye travelling down our now beet red cheeks. As the foot steps got louder we slapped and shushed each other profusely and went back into hiding, our hands over our mouths to bring back silence.

{𝑨𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒔 𝑷𝑶𝑽}

The two boys sprinted down the hallway like a game of cat and mouse. Hinata wasn't crying but laughing. He knew Kageyama would be mad but this was his revenge for being called 'baka' or 'boke' more than Hinata or Shoyo. Kageyama's heart was still logged in his throat. He had no idea what was coming for him but he was not going to like it. The slight sunlight pushing its way through the clouds and beaming on to the rain marked windows gave the corridor a ghoulish feel at this hour of dusk. Breathing for Kageyama was now becoming harder by the second. He sure has a lot of energy for this hour. The lapus eyed boy's lungs began to close to a pin hole in his throat

I can't take all this running anymore he thought. Who even knew the training camp was this big? He opened his mouth but no sound escaped. fuck. 

"h-h-" his lungs ached at each word 

"h-HINATA!" The word flew out of his mouth and his like and earthquake, loud enough to shake the camp

The orange haired boy didn't even flinch. His legs kept moving, cutting threw the air like a hot knife in butter. Sounds of faint laughter filled Kageyama's ear followed by loud shushing. Someone must be up to something. he pondered the possibilities. Probably Noya and Tanaka their always up to no good pulling pranks and other stuff. They neared the end of the hallway that seemed miles long as Hinata began to slow his run to a jog. Is he stopping? Kageyama watched in amazement and confusion all at once as the boy in front of him slowed to a stop, hes hands dropping to his knees as he huffed for air.

"Oh thank god" Kageyama breathed dropping next to him

"Hinata listen im so sor-" Two shadows crouched in the corner next to him as he pulled his focus to Hinata who looked like he was holding his breath.

"Y-you don't have to be s- suh-horry" the orange haired boy turned bright red.

Kageyama stared at his small face in strong confusion 

"But- I don't think I understand" The short boy let out a short laugh as he stood up

" You don't have to be sorry because"- He spinned around with to other boys wearing a Karasuno practice uniform ran to either side of him, they're smiles all bright and misceveous as they all shouted in unison

"YOU'VE JUST BEEN PRANKED!" the three of them burst into laughter rolling around on the floor.

Kageyama's eyes darkened and his face dropped

"P-pranked?" he asked, his heart on fire

"Yup!" Nishinoya said standing up "Get served king! We pranked you and you didn't even see it coming!"

Tanaka stood up and joined Noya once again, pointing his thumb towards his chest ad he smiled, impressed with himself

"So how does it feel knowing the one that you call baka ALL the time pulled such a killer prank!" he then moved towards Kageyama cupping his mouth towards his ear 

"Pretty shitty right?"

"YOU'VE JUST BEEN PRANKED!" the three of them burst into laughter rolling around on the floor.

"P-pranked?" I asked 

They spoke but I couldn't hear them. My ears rang as fell into my thoughts. Pranked me? So everything he said about liking me was all a lie? So that means, I TOLD HINATA I LIKE HIMAND DOESN'T EVEN LIKE ME BACK SO I MADE MY SELF LOOK LIKE A COMPLETE IDIOT? My lungs closed up again. I can't be here, I might- I might cry.

"I- I gotta go" I turned and sprinted down the hallway

That didn't just happen. It was a bad dream and I needed to wake up. wake up. wake up wake up WAKE UP!
