"bye, vinnie, thanks for taking me home." kingsley smiled as vinnie pulled up to her house. 

"yeah, of course. i had fun." vinnie said keeping his hand on kingsley thigh. "have fun on your date tomorrow with chris." 

"oh my god, it's not a date, vincent!" kingsley laughed. "i'll text you tomorrow. bye, vin!" kingsley said unbuckling her seatbelt. 

"hey," vinnie said causing kingsley to turn her head. 

vinnie looked in her eyes with a soft smile appearing on his lips. obviously sending kingsley into a trance. he was in his own one, too. his gaze moved from her eyes to her lips and then back to her eyes. he leaned in, his hand going under her hair and softly gripping the back of her neck. his were lips her centimeters away from hers when he looked back at her eyes.

"you're pretty." he said.

"kiss me." 

vinnie turned his head pressing his lips against hers, slightly tightening his grip on her thigh. vinnie lightly licked her bottom lip, causing her to smile into the kiss. 

"you probably should get going." vinnie said, his lips still close to her lips. 

"yeah, probably." kingsley said. vinnie gave her another quick peck and kingsley opened the door. "bye, vinnie." 

"bye, baby." he said causing goosebumps to grow on kingsley's arms.

"hey, chris!" kingsley said sitting down at a small table. "am i late?" 

"no, no, i'm just early." he said. 

"okay, great!" 

"so, how're you and vinnie?" chris asked immediately. 

"um, we're good. thanks for asking!" she replied.

"so, i saw he told all his tiktok fans about you." 

"yeah, i mean, he's my boyfriend." 

"for a week."

"your point being...?" kingsley said getting annoyed by his bluntness.

"c'mon kings, you're not dumb."

"don't call me that." she said.

"sorry, kingsley, you know how common it is for vinnie to mess with a girl for a week and then drop her? i just don't want you to get hurt."

"why do you care so much?" kingsley asked. 

"i'm just looking out for you, kingsley." 

"so you wanted to have coffee so you could tell me that you think i should break up with vinnie?" 

"kingsley, i just don't want you hurt. that's what he does. hurts girls."

"well, you know what, chris? i'm not dumb. and i know when someone is playing me, okay? i appreciate your random need to be my mother, but i'm good." kingsley said as she stood up.

"kingsley, i didn't mean it like that! i just didn't-"

"want me to get hurt, you've mentioned." kingsley said before standing up and leaving the coffee shop. she grabbed her phone and pulled out her phone. she held the phone to her ear as she tried to hold back her tears.
