(Fun fact: If I were a boy, my name would be Nathon James, and I LOVE IT!! My brother's middle name is Harry. Do you see the pattern?)

(Y/n's P.O.V)

I stood in my family room, the one I was raised in. Waiting for news, waiting for my little brother to get back. He told me I had to stay behind because all the Death Eaters wanted revenge on my twin brother, Regulus, and what better revenge than killing his twin brother. Sirius and I have always been close, so he would never let anything happen to me.

I was the only one to accept his choice, his choice to leave, his choice to fight against the family's values. I had to stay low when it came to Sirius; unlike him, I had nowhere to go and no friends outside the Death Eaters, so when I broke away when Regulus betrayed the Death Eaters, I took the family home. I waited for my little brother to come back. Now, Sirius and I share the house with the Order of the Phoenix.

Sirius and I were both wanted by different sides of the war. We were both doomed. So, instead of leaving, we maintain the house and help plan against Voldemort until today. As soon as we got word that Harry was in the Ministry, Sirius made me promise I would stay here out of harm's way and went to save Harry.

I have been pacing around, waiting for him to return so I could strike him. It had been a few hours since they left, and I was starting to worry. When the familiar 'pop' came from the other room, I ran toward it. When I entered the room, I knew something was wrong. My brother wasn't there. Remus was standing near the fireplace with Minnie.

"Y/n, I'm so sorry. It was too fast. I couldn't....." Remus cried.

"Your brother was fearless, Y/n. You should be proud of him; he lost his life protecting Harry." Minnie said, hugging me.

"His gone?" I ask weakly as Minnie tightens her grip on me.

My brother and I had been close since childhood and had grown even closer, being trapped in the house alone. I had just got him back. Now he is gone again, just like Regulus; he is never coming back. I had lost everything; my brothers were gone. I tried to break loose of Minnie's grip, but she knew me too well. She was there for me when Regulus died and everything after.

After some time of struggling, I gave in and collapsed. I let Minnie hold me as I cried. They are gone. They are both gone. I'm alone again. I always hoped everything would go back the way they were before Hogwarts. Most people say that Hogwarts was the best seven years of their lives, but how can I say that when the day my little brother started the bloody sorting hat sorted him into Gryffindor, my family disowned him.

That day was the day I promised I would find a way to bring my brothers together again. The day I decided what my parents were saying was wrong. Regulus knew me. He knew I wanted to help Sirius, but he didn't want to lose me. I was his twin, after all. Regulus didn't let me leave his side after that day. I shared a room with him and his friends, ate, went to class, and sat with them.

I only got away from him when he had Quidditch practice or a match. I would sneak away and talk to Sirius, but over time, Regulus realized what I was doing, and I was cut off from Sirius completely. We soon lost touch, then Regulus died, and I searched for Sirius until I heard he was in Azkaban after killing James and Lily Potter. I knew he didn't, and it was just a matter of time before he came home. I waited thirteen years before he walked through the front doors of our family home.
