When I was in middle and high school, my twin and I had to sleep in a bunk bed and I always had the top bunk, even on my period! I tried to switch during my period but she wouldn't let me and my dad wouldn't even back me up! Almost every morning, while trying to climb down the ladder, I would leak b/c I wasn't quick enough. They've apologized since, but it still was super lame of them >:(
