Me and Y/N have been catching up lately, I was telling her about Quinn as I played vintage games with her, but all that was ruined when
"Unauthorized scan detected"
Y/N looks up then to the room ahead of us, I follow her gaze to see a weird machine in front of Mooncake to which I quickly destroy using KVN to smash it
"What the heck is this thing?" Y/N asks curiously as I catch my breath "Ventrexian stealth probe" Avocato approaches "Turk" he finished with a growl "Of course Turk" I say as Y/N comes closer, hiding behind me, it reminds me of when we were kids "who the hell is Turk?" I whisper to Avocato, trying not to look uncool in front of my little sister "A bounty hunter, like me" he answers "Now if he scanned Mooncake..He will be on his way back to the Lord Commander to gather reinforcements" He continued Y/N seemed to recognize those words "Lord Commander" but even so I have no idea who this guys is "unless we stop him first" Avocato continues to which I nod "If we don't, they will capture Mooncake" "unh-unh" I shook my head as Mooncake hid himself in Y/N's arms "and take us to the dark zone and torture us with zargon slugs or we gonna suffer in pain and anguish for enternity" "oh-" me and Y/N say in unison "and the only way to stop them is with salt" "Oh!" me and Y/N chirp together "and there's no salt in the Dark Zone" Avocato finishes "Hmm...sounds like I got these buttery buns into a hot vise" I say, scratching my chin "How do I stop them?" I ask "You don't." Avocato answers simply "but together we've got a shot" he suggests "get me out of these cuffs and we'll go after him" "Whoa whoa whoa whoa Cowboy! You tried to kill me!" I say "What?" Y/N looks concerned between both of us "If you want me to trust you first we clasp" I say, handing out my hand to Avocato to which he refused immediately but after some of my sweet convincing he gave in "Trust mode engaged" I say with a smirk but Y/N steps back, seems she doesn't trust Avocato too much.
Avocato POV
Y/N immidietly steps back when I'm free from the cuffs, Gary goes on off about how she should clasp hands with me so she won't be afraid anymore but I don't think she's afraid... ever since Gary said I tried to kill him she's been glaring at me.
"It's been five years since I've been off this ship! I am pumped for adventure! Let's get this guy!!" Gary cheers "Five?!" Y/N asks concerned "HUE, open the airlock" Gary ignores Y/N's concern "You are a prisoner. How will I know you won't run?" HUE asks "I got no where to g-" gary is interrupted by being suddenly injected with some turquoise liquid into his neck "OW WHAT THE FRICK WAS THAT?!" "Gary are you ok?!" Y/N worriedly holds onto Gary "If you are not back abroad this ship in five hours, your brain will go into convulsive spasms and then explode" Hue says...well..shit. "WHAT?!" Y/N scrams, scaring us as this is the first time she raised her voice "Let's Gooooo!" Gary goes anyway "W-Wait! Gary, what if it takes longer, you shouldn't go" Y/N tries to reason with him, pulling on her oversized (f/c) sweater that Gary gave her "shouldn't we take Mooncake?" I ask, avoiding any more time lost "It's too dangerous!" Gary replies before looking at Y/N "N/N you stay with Mooncake as well!" I look at her, her eyes seemed full of despair "w-what?" her voice almost breaks though it's not noticeable "No, Gary I'm coming with" she says stomping her foot in "Y/N, Gary is right, it is too dangerous for you" I join in receiving glares in return "fine" she looks away puffing her cheeks in a cute manner.
Y/N POV
"I'll miss you guys byeee" Gary says as he turns, once both Avocato and Gary look away I sneak in just before the door closes. If Gary thinks he can leave me behind again, he is dead wrong.
