"Are you sure you have to go Cait?" Zayn whined as I zipped up my suit case that was open on my bed. I was going to be spending the summer abroad in England working at Thrill-Ville themed amusement park.

"I'm coming back in ninety two days" I smiled, leaning over to the other side of the bed to kiss him

"Ninety two days without me" He pouted "I don't understand why you're even going. Why couldn't you have taken your job back at the mall with me?" I turned my back to him, facing my closet and rolled my eyes. Ever since I told Zayn about my new summer job all he has done is moan and complain.

"Because it's a job related to my degree" I turned and faced him "And how many people can say they worked at Thrill-Ville?" I smiled. Truth is, I need this summer job to escape the wrath of hell that is Emma and Micah's wedding. Emma is my big sister and she is a perfectionist. I'm the maid of honour, however, being that means that I'm either the one who gets all the complaints, or the one who has to go fix everything.

"But working in The Gap related to a fashion degree" He continued to moan "what's the difference between doing it here in Canada or doing it in England?" I looked over at my dresser to check I haven't left anything

"It's an experience I wasn't going to miss out on" I turned and faced him

"You don't even like roller coasters though" he pointed out. It's true. The first and only time I have been on a rollercoaster was with my father and sister at Marine Land. It was all great until we left the plat form. I hated when things were unpredictable. The ups, the downs, the twist and loop-to-loops was not my thing at all. I prefer to think of myself as a Ferris wheel kind of girl, slowly building up to my success and climb back down ready to climb up to the next one. Nice, slow, breathing taking views, and peaceful.

"Cait! Zayn! Dinner is ready!" I heard my mum yell. I held my hand out to Zayn, who still  sat on the bed unamused

"You're not leaving because of me right?"  I saw tears forming in his eyes "I'm not pushing you too far am I?" His voice started to crack "I know I pushed too far on our last date, but you've made I clear that you don't want to go all the way yet... and I'm totally cool with that" He rambled

"Of course not honey!" I interrupted as I sat down on his lap and kissed his cheek. "We can do this. We make this summer, then we can make it through anything" I saw his cheeks blush "Thick and thin honey. I mean it" I kissed him again

"I love you" He smiled weakly

"And I love my food so let's get dinner before it's cold" I winked, jumping off his lap and taking his hand.

"Oh, you're there, I was about to shout for you two again" My mum smiled. I could smell he meatballs cooking in the tomato sauce as we walked by.  I led Zayn to the dining room table. My little sister and brother were already seated in their school uniform

"I wish I was you Cait" My brother Harry started "You finish school in may and you're going to the best place ever" His eyes lit up as he spoke of Thrill-Ville, which to be honest, is the best place ever.

"Keep working hard at school, then when you reach University you'll get to leave school a month early as well" Zayn winked at him. He grabbed my hand and gave it a quick squeeze

"How long do I have left in school until I'm in University Mummy?" He shouted

"You're in year three now" My mum started "So a lot" Harry frowned at this information, not happy with it at all.

"I like school" Sally added. The two of them started bickering about school

"What time does your flight leave?" My mum asked, bringing plates to the table

"Nine at night. So I have an hour before Zayn and I leave and that'll give me a few hours to get through security and figure out where I'm going" I replied "Are you going to be ok with Emma's wedding without me?" My mum joined us at the table and we started eating

"I should be, you're just a phone call away" I love my mum, "Plus she's not pregnant like I was"  She winked. I'm sure I'm going to miss her the most.

"You don't have to go" Zayn brushed a loose piece of hair out of my face. "You can still say here. If the wedding gets too much you can sleep at my apartment"  I blushed and looked up at him, wrapping my arms around his neck "You're eyes look so big when you look up to me" He kissed my forehead. Zayn is a solid six foot tall. I'm five foot three on a good day. I slipped my hands under his sports jacket and played with hem of his shirt, touching his hot skin under

"I'm going to miss you" I whispered. "I'll call you when I land and settle down" Zayn bit his lip and stared down at me. Usually I can read his dark eyes, but they looked dull, numb almost. He dropped his hands from my waist.

"You're actually going through with this?" I nodded, unsure of what to expect from his sudden outburst. "Ok, well, see you later then" I stepped back in shock as he turned and stormed out of the air port. That wasn't the romantic goodbye I was hoping for. I walked up the check in counter slightly heartbroken with my passport and ticket in hand, ready to take on the adventure that awaits.
