Chapter Twenty-Four*

Start from the beginning

"Christoph stai ascoltando, cazzo?"

"Nessun padre".

"Perché diavolo no!" My father's voiced boomed in the room.

I looked at him, then at Antonio and his family and said, "ho informazioni di cui ho bisogno per sapere se è vero o no, è importante."

My father simply nodded.

There's my green light.

"So before I answer anything regarding business with you, I have a few questions Antonio. And it would be in your best favor to answer them honestly."

He nods his head slightly.

"Perfect. So you have two children correct?"

He nods once again.

"You may be my father's dearest friend but you aren't to me so I advise you to answer me with words."

I gave him a hard stare.

"Yes I do. Senior what is the meaning of..."

I cut him off mid sentence with my gun in his face, "my father is not to be talked to until I'm done".

He simply nods again.

"What are your kids names?"

He looks at my father, who gives him a look.

"Their names are Malcolm and Michael."

"Hmm.. so you don't have anymore children somewhere?"

I watch as his jaw tightens.

"No I do not. Me and my ex wife were going to have another but due to some circumstances that isn't the case."

"By chance what was the child going to be?"

He looks down and quietly says, "a girl".

I stand up and walk over to Matteo who had the folders.

"So I was reading here into your children because they had two things that belong to me a while ago and I don't take to kindly to that as they have learned I'm sure. But when I looked into their backgrounds I came across that they were your children." I watched his face contort in confusion. "Then to my surprise they work for you as well. I was sure my father needed to know that information because it was a shock to me. But what was even more surprising was your ex wife's folder." I tossed that folder on top of the others while he went through it like the rest of them. "Her folder is what peaked my interest more. Did you know she had a little girl, I'm sure you knew because you received a picture." I watched him pull a small picture out of his pocket and put it on the table.

"Yes I have a picture and i keep it with me everywhere I go. And you want to know why I keep it because she told me our daughter died 5 days after she was born. I lost my precious girl before I got to even hold her!"

"Haha!" I laughed so hard.

"Why are you laughing? My daughter is gone and you find this shīt funny," his chair flies back as he stands up abruptly.

"Christoph", I hear my father but I ignore him.

"Yes I'm laughing at you. Because you are pathetic."

He was getting angrier by the second and it made me laugh more.

"Aye you better hop off my dad before I bust ya ašs boy," Mike says as he stands up with a gun in his hand. I watch Malcolm to see if he's going to do something but he's just sitting there.
