Tae walks the upstairs hallway, checking on the boys to make sure they are packing their luggage for the Mexico weekend trip Sunni's boyfriend Victor planned for everyone.
He heard the doorbell sound around his mansion a few minutes ago, which has him footing downstairs to Tyson opening the door for his grandmother. Tyson was in town from college to go on the trip—he never turns down at free trip out the country.
Unaware of her grandson being in town, Ruth excitedly embraces him. "Oh my God! What are you doing in town?" she asks, as Tae steps off the stairs and into the foyer.
"I'm here for the Mexico trip." Tyson lets her know, "You ain't kno'?"
"Mexico trip? What trip?" Ruth asks, staring at Tae.
Tae pats his nephew on the shoulder. "Lemme talk to yo' GG. Go make sho' Kendrick and Avant really packin'."
Tyson listens and goes upstairs, leaving his grandmother and uncle alone in the foyer.
"What trip?" Ruth questions once more. "I haven't heard about it."
"Yea'... cause you the invitation wasn't extended to you." he states, respectfully.
Ruth furrows her eyebrows. "What is your problem?"
"I don't have any problem, Momma. I'm just tellin' you."
