The next day, I feel a little bit sick.

I can't find a nearby store that sells the type of coffee beans I want to try. So I was kind of low in energy and I am thinking of closing the shop.

But I guess, I will just bother Gino to help me out a bit.

"Riley, my friend!" called out Gino as soon as he enters the shop. It seems like he's excited to work for me.

"Ayos porma natin ngayon ah." (Wow, talk about outfit of the day!) I said.

He proudly fixed his hair.

"Sigurado ka bang wala kang trabaho ngayon?" (Are you sure you don't have work today?) I asked.

"Wala. Off ko ngayon." (None. It's my day off.) he answered. "Anong gagawin ko?" (What should I do?) he also asked.

"Well, kailangan ko ng magse-serve at maglilinis ng mga table. Kaya mo bang gawin?" (Well, I need someone to serve and clean the tables. Can you do it?) I asked teasing him a bit. I know he always wanted to try making a coffee from ground coffee beans.

"Eh? Yun lang gagawin ko? Coffee shop 'to di ba? Di ba ako gagawa ng kape?" (Eh? That's it? This is a coffee shop right? Won't I make a coffee?) he clamored.

"Mamaya na lang pag hindi na busy. Tuturuan pa kita eh." (Save that for later when it's not busy. I'll teach you how to do it.) I suggested. "Ok?" I added. He nodded.

"Ah, Riley." suddenly called Gino. I asked him what. "Kahapon." (Yesterday.) he added.

"Oh, anong meron kahapon?" (Oh, what about yesterday?) I asked.

"Uhm, tumawag sa kin si Jordan." (Uhm, Jordan called me.) he nervously muttered.

"Tapos?" (And then?) I asked waiting for him to continue his story. He's acting weird and it's creeping me out.

"Tinanong ka niya sa akin. Kung nakabalik ka na daw." (He's looking for you. He's asking me if you already came back.) he replied.

"Haaa?! Sinabi mo? Di ba sabi ko wag mo munang sabihin? Sinasabi ko na nga ba ibubuking mo 'ko eh." (Haaa?! You told him? I told you not to tell him by any means right? I should've known you'll eventually sing.) I exclaimed furiously.

"Uy teka may sinabi ba kong..." (Hey hold on. I didn't say...) he answered trying to defend himself but a customer suddenly walked in. "Isang chocolate frappe nga po." (One chocolate frappe please.) she said.

"Coming up ma'am. Ano pa po?" (Coming up ma'am. Anything else?) I said then I gave Gino a glare as I approach the counter.

*Gino indistinctly murmured* "May sinabi ba akong sinabi ko kay Jordan? Hay. Bakit di kaya muna makinig. Hayyyy." (I didn't say I told Jordan about him, did I? Why can't he listen first to what people say.)

I was upset with him that day so I was not acting nice towards him.

I still taught him how to use the coffee maker though. I explained the steps to him in a way that he can understand.

By the way, he impressed me with his work etiquette. The tables were neat and he knows how to serve the customers. The coffee is not bad too.

Except for one thing.

"Miss, here's your mocha chocolatta frappe. Frapped with my love." he said while serving the customer. "Ma'am tikman niyo muna po." (Ma'am, go ahead and try it.) he added.
