"Ok ok no. Someone explain please." Colby's eyes went from me to Malcolm and then back to me.
"He's my moms little brother." He waved dismissively.
"But Colby you knew how I met him." Colby nodded with a sad smile.
"Why didn't you tell me...either of you?" I asked slightly angry. My eyebrows furrowed together.
"Amy-
Colby didn't get to finish because I stood up and walked straight out of his apartment and into mine. Mum asked what was wrong and I only respond with a grunt before slamming my bedroom door. Falling back against my bed I kept thinking about Malcolm.
Does he live in this building too? He couldn't...well maybe. My heart beat sped up a little. What was happening to me god damn it?
A soft knock pulled me from my thoughts. Aj opening the door with a tub of ice cream and two spoon.
"You always know exactly what to do. I love you big brother." I whispered pulling him into a tight hug.
"Colby called, and Mr.Alexander stopped by. I told them you weren't seeing anyone. Mom left for work she's worried so text her when you get the chance." Aj spoke softly with a caring tone. I nodded before taking a spoon and digging into my favorite ice cream.
Mmhmm cookie dough ice cream. I moaned in delight after the first bite I forgotten how much I loved this ice cream.
"Grey's?" Aj asked holing my remote.
"Do you even have to ask?" I laughed with an eye roll. Aj and I spent the rest of the night hold up in my room binging on cookie dough ice cream and Grey's Anatomy, we even ugly cried when our favorite character died.
"Alright enough of that before I go numb and emotionless." Aj sighed putting the remote on the nightstand. I took our left over ice cream back to the freezer and almost jumped outta my skin when I saw Malcolm standing there in the kitchen.
"Jesus, Mary, Joseph! Malcolm what the hell are you doing here?!" I asked as I clutched my chest where my heart was hammering against my rib cage.
"I needed to make sure you were ok." He whispered not looking at me.
"I'm fine." My coldness must have been quite the shock to him, his eyes shot up to look at me. Malcolm took a step towards me and I defensively to two backwards.
"I've been worried." He says rubbing the back of his neck.
"Worried? About me? You hardly know me!" I shot back harshly making Malcolm wince.
"I know. Your just so frustrating, you have this pull and it makes me want to push you against the wall and kiss you until you can't stand anymore." He groaned tilting his head back so he was looking at the ceiling.
"What?" My hand going up to my heart where it stopped for a moment before starting again. My voice had been soft and very quiet I wasn't even sure Malcolm heard me.
"Amethyst...I want to pin you against that wall and kiss you until you can't stand anymore." He said slower this time, he was pointing at the wall closest to me. My heart fluttered before it squeezed.
"Amy!" Aj called from my room and I froze. I could hear his footsteps without thinking I shoved Malcolm down so he was crouched, he looked up at me questioningly and I just held my finger to my lips.
"What is taking you so long?" Aj asked leaning against the other side of the island.
"I was just thinking that's all, and I was thirsty so I was gonna get something to drink." Aj seemed to think on that for a moment before he nodded.
