"Ahem," I fake coughed to get my father's attention as dinner was almost over and we were just having our dessert.

Ever since the dinner had started no one talked except Taehyung politely introducing himself in the beginning with his charming smile 'Hello, sir! I'm Taehyung. Jungkook's friend from college.'

Papa simply nodded with his signature business smile.

Can he not put aside his attitude at least in front of my friends? I get it he has money and all but that doesn't give him the right to be rude to people without any reason.

I understand he's overprotective over me which is why he doesn't trust any of my friends since my childhood. But that reason isn't justified either to make anyone feel shitty just because they decided to give me company.

"I wanna introduce you with Tae properly," I said with all the courage I could master when he looked at my face.

"He has already told me." Papa frowned at me.

"Yea, but I'm gonna add something more." A deep breath. "I love him," I could see Taehyung giving me bewildered look through my peripheral vision.

Papa's face changed colour, "Love? As in love love?"

"Yes, papa. I love love him." He sprang out of his seat so fast that the dessert bowl fell on the mattress with a thud sound.

"Are you fucking kidding me!?" His face went red with anger. This is the first time he cursed in front of me and I won't lie I kinda stinged.

"I can't believe I raised you to be like this!" He pointed at Tae as if he's some kind of disease. This fueled up my blood and I clenched my fists.

"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO MY SON, YOU FUCKING LUNATIC!?"
