Lilly Collins is going to be Hazel ^^^

"Come on Arina focus!" Collin said frustrated. "Bring the power forward!" He commanded for the hundredth time. I was exhausted. For the past two hours Collin had me doing physical training including running 4 miles, 500 push-ups, 200 sit-ups, and so on. My body was shaking and I couldn't stand. Now he is trying to make me bring my power forward. The last time that happened I cut down the surrounding forest. I wasn't about to get even close to doing that again.

"Collin I can't!" I said equally frustrated. "It's not something I can just...do! The only time it has ever been used is when I was really angry and then I burned down half the forest!" I ran my hands through my hair. "I can't control this and I am going to hurt someone."

"Ari, I am more than capable of controlling your power once it comes out. When you let it free I can build a barrier long enough for you to pull it back in. We will do this a couple times and eventually it won't take as much energy to call it forth and put it away." He explained. "Just take a deep breath, focus, and reach down into yourself and set your power free." I nodded and did as he said. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes mentally tugging at the raw power inside of me. I tugged and tugged until I felt it slowly start creeping to the surface. Before I knew it there was a blinding light surrounding me. "Good Ari! Now pull it back in!" Collin shouted. I nodded and started to pull the light back inside me. Pulling it in was so much harder than letting it out. I pulled and pulled with all my might until the light finally receded back into my body leaving me on my hands and knees breathing like I had just run a marathon. Everything hurt down to my bones. I groaned and laid my head against to cool dirt. "Good job." Collin said breathing just as hard as me. "I suppose we are done for the day. You look as if you are about to pass out." I nodded and he helped me up off the ground. He tried to just let me go and walk off by himself but I collapsed again. He groaned like a disgruntled teenager and came back to help me up again. This time instead of walking off he let me lean against him and we slowly walked towards the house. As soon as we hit the tree line I smelt the familiar scent of my mate nearby. I turned my head slightly to the left and saw my mate and a few others in the clearing behind the house. Sebastian and the others were sparing with each other...shirtless. Sebastian was sparing with Kale they were both going slow so I figured they were teaching they others fighting moves. From the distance I could make out Sebastian's abs that made my mouth water.

"So are you going to continue checking out your mate or can we start walking again?" Collin said from beside me. A blush crept up into my cheeks.

"Sorry." I mumbled as Collin pulled me along into the house. He pulled me all the way to the kitchen and set me down at the bar. He then proceeded to go to the fridge and started rummaging around mumbling something about filling the tank.

"To whoever is cooking, that smell delicious." Hazel's voice said from outside the kitchen. Not a second later she came strolling in. She looked around the kitchen looking for the culprit. "What is that smell?" She asked me. I shrugged.

"What does it smell like?" She took another deep breath.

"Well it smells like freshly cut grass, rain water, and the forest." She explained. Suddenly Collin, who had been ignoring us, slammed the door to the refrigerator. As soon as they made eye contact, Hazel gasped.

"Mate." She said. Suddenly there was a loud sickening Crack! and she fell to the ground. Her screams filled the room. Collin and I ran to her spot of the floor.

"What is happening?" Collin asked looking at me with frantic eyes.

"She is shifting." I answered. "We need to get her outside." Collin nodded and scooped her up into his arms. As soon as their skin made contact, Hazel stopped screaming as if he took away her pain but from experience I knew that wasn't the case. Ignoring the shocks I knew were traveling up his arms he began to take her outside with me on his heels. As soon as we were off the porch Collin set Hazel on the ground and stepped back. When his hands left her she resumed screaming bring the attention of everyone around. Sebastian heard the commotion and in an instant he was by my side. He saw his sister writhing in pain and looked to me for an explanation.

"They are mates." I said gesturing between Hazel and Collin. Sebastian's eyebrows shot up but I silenced him. "As soon as they saw each other she just collapsed and started shifting." Without another word Sebastian shifted and started to nudge Hazel no doubt giving her power.

She is too weak to make the transition. Anja said inside my head.

What can I do? I asked her.

Go to her. Put your hands on her and you can take away her pain. She explained. But trust me, it will hurt like Hell. Like you are shifting again and Sebastian will provide you no comfort. Before she could say anymore I ran towards Hazel. Kale grabbed me and pulled me back.

"This has to happen." He whispered into my ear. I shook my head.

"I can help her." I said before lunging forward and out of his arms. He tried to grab me again but I dodged him and dropped down next to Hazel. I grabbed her hand and in an instant she stopped screaming. Sebastian's wolf looked at me with confusion then suddenly my body was filled with pain. My bones were breaking but nothing was happening at the same time, I was feeling everything Hazel was supposed to be feeling. I tried to suppress it but my screams replaced Hazels. Sebastian looked from his sister, who's bones were still reshaping, to me with confusion.

"She took her pain." Celestria, who had come out of nowhere, said. Sebastian nodded and started to rub his nose against my hand. "That won't help her. She has to go through this on her own." Sebastian's wolf nodded again then curled up next to me letting out a whimper every time I screamed. Even with the pain, I was still hyperaware of everything. I could feel Sebastian's soft fur rubbing up against me. I could hear Celestria and Collin talking about what had just occurred. I could see Sebastian's worried expression that only deepened every time I screamed. With everything I could muster I closed my mouth so that only whimpers came out instead of screams. Suddenly I heard Frannie frantically asking what was happening. Apparently Kale had run to get her after I got away from him. Then suddenly the pain was gone. I sat up slowly and in Hazel's place sat a beautiful grey wolf. Collin was looking at her in awe while Frannie and Thomas were talking her through what was happening. They helped her stand and gather her bearings. When she could walk in a straight line, she slowly approached Collin. At first he didn't know what to make of it. He just stood there. Then Hazel nudged his hand and he knelt down and began to pet her. She started to purr in response. Feeling as though I was intruding, I looked away. My eyes caught Celestria. She was staring into space. I looked into the direction she was and my eyes found Kale doing the exact same thing in her direction. He inhaled deeply then murmured.

"Mate." Before flashing beside her. Again I felt like I was intruding and looked towards Sebastian. He had already shifted back and changed into some shorts someone had handed him. He was walking towards me. I tried to stand but moved to fast and got dizzy. I would have fallen but Sebastian picked me up bridal style and started carrying me to the house. I was exhausted so I just leaned my head against his shoulder and fell asleep.

I awoke in a soft bed filled with warmth. Slowly I sat up and realized I was lying in Sebastian's bed. At least it wasn't a hospital bed. Suddenly the bathroom door opened to reveal my mates god-like form standing in the doorway with his hair dripping. He was wearing low sweatpants with no shirt causing his abs to make me drool.

"Oh good your awake." He said coming to the bed. He sat beside me leaning against the headboard and took my hand. "I was so worried about you. Jonas said you would wake but he didn't know when. He said you just overworked yourself again. What happened?"

"Anja told me Hazel wasn't strong enough to make the transition. I wanted to help and she told me the only way I could was to take her pain." I explained. He opened his mouth to say something but I cut him off. "It okay. I'm alright trust me. I've experienced worse pains." I said causing his grip on my hand to tighten and his breathing to deepen. I looked up at him through my lashes and saw that his eyes were black.

"Tell me." He said through clenched teeth.

"I really don't think you want to know."

"Tell me." He said again.

"Please. Don't. You do not want to know everything. Ignorance is bliss." I said willing tears to go away.

"Just tell me. Please." He said again. I sighed and got off the bed. I started pacing. Trying to figure out what I was going to say. "Don't sugarcoat it for my benefit. Just tell me everything." I took a deep breath and let it out before sitting at the end of the bed and starting my story.
