"3...2....1...HAPPY NEW YEARS" Everyone screamed along with the television. Sebastian smiled and planted a kiss on my lips. Sparks shot through my body causing me to whimper when he pulled away. Sebastian's smiled widened and he leaned in to give me another kiss but before he could a small figure ran into me forcing me to shoot forward. My head busted into Sebastian's causing me to hiss in pain. We both turned to find Sammie smiling up at us sheepishly.
"Sammie! I thought I out you to bed hours ago?" I scolded the small boy. Sammie's smile dropped and tears welled up in his eyes. My heart lurched and I picked him up.
"I had a bad dream." He whispered and I immediately regretted my tone.
"Lets get you back up to bed little guy. And I'll stay with you this time." I said looking up past the boy to my mate. Sebastian nodded and planted another kiss on my lips then my forehead before I turned to leave. When I made it up the stairs I set Sammie gently down on Sebastian's side of the bed and made my way to the bathroom to change. I felt cold so I threw on one of my mates hoodie's and a pair of leggings. I brushed out my hair and braided it before returning to the room. Instantly a familiar scent entered my nose and I froze. I looked up and gasped in shock. Marcus was standing in the middle of the room holding Sammie close to his body with a sadistic smile on his face.
"What a beautiful little boy." He said. I growled and took a step forward but someone shot out from behind the bathroom door and grabbed me. I felt a sudden prick in my neck and pain erupted causing me to whimper. A sudden exhaustion took over my body and I fell to the ground, weak. I tried to fight it off but the aconite was eating away at me, making me weak. No matter how hard I fought the darkness fought harder. Eventually the darkness wrapped around me like a thick blanket and tugged me into unconsciousness.
