Hi I'm Sophie and I'm 7 nearly 8 and I don't have an happy family because my mom left for another family but even before all that happened we wasn't really happy anyway let's not get into that though but they were never physical hurt me...well that changed when I was 5 ever since she left my dad I don't even want to call him my dad but anyway he started drinking more and taking drugs as days go on so I have to be more independent person and do everything by myself I can even fix cars my uncle showed me how when I was 6 and clean the hou-
"GET UP YOU BRAT AND MAKE YOUR SELF USEFUL" my 'dad' yelled at me drunk bringing me out of my thoughts so I got out of bed and did my hair but the problem is that my hair has always been long no one ever cut it before so it's a bit of a struggle to wash and brush it but I learned how to do it by my self with no help at all anyway I brushed my teeth and change into this ( a/n if you want to know what she looks like it's a the top)

I hurried downstairs go see him passed out on the couch even though he call me down 'I don't get it' I thought to myself but I already knew what he was gonna say when he wakes up I need to make him breakfast but first I needed a drink but I couldn't reach so I have to clime up to get a glass
When I finally get the glass I turned the tap on and took a drink but as I was walking the glass slipped (because It's was still wet) out of my hand and smashed loudly which lead to my 'dad' waking up and when I say he was mad he was mad no furious to the point where I could literally see smoke coming out of his ears and nose
"What the hell did You drop" he screamed at me "I-i a-accidentally d-dropped t-the g-glass"I was shaking with fear because I knew he was gonna beat me again He looked over and saw the glass and water everywhere on the floor I swear he was turning red with angry and slapped me HARD across the face with lead me to falling on the floor where all the glass is.
I don't know how but I managed to not scream in pain but I didn't. All the glass cut through my skin it started to bleed "You idiot" he stomped on me "Why are you so stupid" I cried in pain He did this for the next 10 minutes till he said "Get out and don't come back till tomorrow afternoon!" When I tell you I ran I mean I ran as fast as I could. I was quite fast for a 7 year old I'm not gonna lie so it only took me 2 minutes to get to the barn where only I go my 'dad' never goes here but in case this happens I have an emergency bag with more cloths,foods,drinks,my toothbrush and toothpaste and a mid kite. I know how look after and Bandage my wounds it's just the glass part that's gonna hurt...a lot
