"Hey, Aiden?" Someone, I assumed Jake, tapped on my shoulder. "Yeah?" I turned around. "Can I talk to you about something?" He sat next to me. "Yeah, what happened?" I ask. "Well, to you it may just sound like I'm being a crybaby-". "Jake, shut up, and tell me." I roll my eyes and smile at him. "Well.. Uh.. My parents were fighting.. Again.." He rubbed the back of his neck nervously. I gave him a small smile, "It's gonna be okay, why am I even here with you, if it isn't to help?". "Thanks, Aiden" He smiled. I felt my cheeks warm up a bit, I've always loved it when he smiled. It's very cute. Wait.. Shit. Am I crushing on my best friend?! What the hell?! "Aiden?" Jake asked, snapping me away from my thoughts. "Sorry, sorry" I mumbled.
   "Anyways.. How's everything at home?" He asked. "Uh.. Well, I think it's gotten better." I smiled and shrugged. "Good." He smiled. "Well, we should get to class." I got up. "Right.." He got up, "Bye, Aiden" he waved before walking away. I sighed and walked to class.
                Hours Later
They're hanging out at Jake's. house.
                  Jake's P.O.V
"Okay, what do you wanna do now?" I ask getting up. "Hmm.. Well, there's this one movie.." Aiden looked up at the ceiling."cute". "Wait- what? NoNoNo!" I mentally slap myself. "Lemme see the remote" He said. "Okay" I handed him the TV remote. "I gotta go to the bathroom." I say and walk away. "Just go, geez" I heard Aiden say. I laugh a bit and close the door of the bathroom, then my phone buzzed, "Who could it be?" I thought as I reached into my pocket to get it.
