A faint sound of music was heard from inside, Jiyeon biting her lip. Are they having a party? Are we going to a party? She was never fond of parties, the fact that she hates being drunk, the loud music and the presence of sweaty bodies suffocating her are just the absolute worst.
Before she was about to ask Sunmi about what she got herself into, the door opened. Revealing an insanely tall guy smiling at them and his dimples appeared like big deep bowls Jiyeon could probably eat cereal in them.
Or is that too weird?
"You're late." The guy laughed. "Seokjin's gonna kick your ass."
"Thanks for the friendly reminder, Namjoon Oppa!" Sunmi screeched in an annoying high pitched voice and her face contorted into a grimace. "Can you let us in now? Im fucking thirsty."
"You know its a rule to always bring something with you when you come here, right? What did you bring? Pizza? Donuts? Ryan cake-"
"Jimin's sister." Sunmi cut him off as she pushed Jiyeon forward.
Namjoon was taken aback and gasped. "Right! I forgot you got here yesterday!" He smiled and reached his hand out to her. "Kim Namjoon, at your service. Im the school's vice president so if you need help-"
"Bla bla bla rainbows and unicorns bla bla bla Namjoon's dumb. Can we come in now?" Sunmi interrupted making Namjoon glare at her and huff.
"Too bad, Jin was making chocolate covered strawberries for you, guess i'd finish them myself since someone's being too bratty today-"
"YAAAAH OPPAAAA!" Sunmi whined loudly and she chased the cute tall dimpled guy inside.
"OH AND JUST COME INSIDE, JIMIN'S SISTER!" Jiyeon heard Namjoon shout and she chuckled. Stepping inside and closed the door behind her.
There's still a hallway before she could arrive to the main part of the dorm. So she nibbled on her lip, nervous, and walked until she arrived in the living room.
"JIYEONIEEEE!" An oh-so-familiar voice sang and she was soon suffocated in a tight hug.
"O-oppa." She stuttered trying to escape from her brother's hold.
"That's her?" She heard a voice ask and another tall guy was in front of her. "Jimin-ah, let your sister breath, good heavens."
"I just missed my little sister so much!" Jimin cooed and pecked her hair before finally letting go. Jiyeon shot him a short glare which the older ignored, already used to it by now.
"Who knew Park Jimin will be that kind of brother, huh?" A pale-skinned guy who was sitting on the couch said in a teasing tone.
"Yah, what's that supposed to mean?" Jimin pouted at him.
"You being an annoying ass brother. Must be having a hard time, Jiyeon-ssi?" The guy replied as he moved his eyes on Jiyeon.
Jiyeon shrugged and averted her eyes from everyone. "Handling it quite well."
Jimin looked at her in disbelief and let out a "hmph." Mumbling a "You guys are too mean." While he walked back to sit on the couch.
The tall guy who was in front of her smiled and suddenly pulled her into a hug making her yelp rather cutely. "Aigoo! Aigoo! This girl is too cute! This is much better than taking care of wild animals every day." He purposely said that out loud making the others in the room frown.
"My name is Seokjin, you can call me Oppa, Eomma sounds good too, or Worldwide handsome. Your choice, sweetheart." He continued as he let go. Jiyeon's eyes widened.
"Can you give me 6 boxes of strawberry milk?" Jiyeon requested bluntly, staring at the taller who was was staring at her the same.
Jimin choked out a laugh, clapping his hands. "She actually believed me."
She looked at him in confusion. "What did you tell her, Park Jimin." Seokjin sighed.
"I told her that if she asks you for 6 boxes of strawberry milk you'd get it for her in an hour." Jimin explained still laughing.
"You mean..." Jiyeon mumbled but loud enough to be heard. "...shorty."
Jimin instantly stopped laughing and pouted. "You're being mean to me too, Jiyeonie? This is so heartbreaking!" He sighed dramatically.
"So you basically told her im like some grocery owner." Seokjin gasped in pain. "Forget this disgrace of a brother you have. I'll buy you the 6 boxes but promise to never turn out like these guys. Always disobeying and bullying their hyung, unbelievable."
Jiyeon smiled brightly and gave him a thumbs up. "You have my word, Eomma."
Seokjin pointed at her. "I like her."
"Who doesn't? My sister is very likeable!" Jimin answered.
"Let me introduce you to everyone, Jiyeon-ssi." Seokjin said, obviously ignoring Jimin who was currently pouting again. Jiyeon giggled at her poor brother and stuck her tongue out to tease him more.
"That's Yoongi." Pointing to the pale skinned guy who gave Jiyeon a smile, nodding at her.
"That's Hoseok." Pointing to the one beside Yoongi. Hoseok smiled widely and waved his hand at her. "She knows me already." He bragged to Yoongi who didnt even care about what he just said.
"That's Namjoon." He pointed to the guy with dimples. "Hi Yeon." Namjoon beamed at her.
"And- wait, where's Kookie?" Seokjin called out but then just in time, the sound of the door opening echoed throughout the living room and everyone turned their eyes to the hallway from the entrance to see a guy in a black shirt and leather pants walking in.
"Sorry for being late, where's the food?" The guy said with no emotion and went straight to the table but his eyes landed on the new face beside Seokjin.
"Jungkook. That's Jungkook." The oldest continued. "Rude enough to come in late and ask for food, that's him." Seokjin added and scoffed.
Jungkook didn't pay attention to what he was saying though. He kept on staring at Jiyeon and she had to actually turn away to avoid him, he was staring way too intensely.
"Jungkookie, this is Jiyeon! Weren't you guys playmates 13 years ago?" Jimin spoke up in overflowing excitement.
And there Jungkook realized, she is Jiyeon. The one who gave him the warm red scarf years ago. The one who he gave his bunny stuffie to. The one who he waited for so long but never came back, but well, here she is now.
Jungkook coughed, snapping back to reality. Passing by her to grab a pack of chips on the table and walked to sit beside Jimin. "Yah, aren't you greeting her? You two used to be close, you know?"
Jungkook shifted awkwardly in his eat but still moved his gaze on her and smiled slightly. "Hey."
Jiyeon stared at him for a quite while. The others already finding it weird and awkward, but Jungkook stared at her again and it wasn't uncomfortable for the two of them at all. It's just like they're shamelessly checking each other out.
But Jiyeon smiled suddenly and slightly bowed at him before going to Sunmi who was in the kitchen, probably feasting on those strawberries. She was still a bit mad at her roommate for the fashion dissing this morning, but she'd prefer going to her rather than staying in an awkward room with someone who she thinks was awfully familiar.
Jungkook watched her leave and he felt a hand on his shoulder. "Kook, you good?" Jimin asked in worry, he smiled at the older and nodded.
"Chips?" Jungkook offered to him. Jimin took a handful but still looking at the younger in confusion.
What's up with these two?
