The Parks, they were known as one of the wealthiest families in Korea. With parents who are both CEOs of their own companies and their two lovely children who are gifted with such kindness and beauty.
When you'll take a look at them, you'll say that they're a family with nothing but perfection. Money, cars, servants? They have it all. Even owns countless of mansions in Korea itself. But what people have not seen, is what's going on inside their household.
Vases were being thrown across the room, screams so ear deafening made the two siblings cry. Jimin was holding onto Jiyeon as they stood by the staircase, watching the scene of their parents quarrelling.
"Im leaving and im taking the kids with me." Their mother spoke ever so seriously, walking towards the two sobbing children. Her face that was once filled with sadness changed into a comforting smile as she held both of their arms.
"Jiminie, you two go change in your warm clothes. Go outside once you're done. Arraseo?" She softly said whilst cupping his cheek. Jimin nodded with teary eyes and held Jiyeon's hand, dragging her upstairs.
"Oppa, where are we going?" Jiyeon sniffed, tears falling from her eyes time to time. Jimin didn't like the sight, it was always a heartbreak for him to see his sister crying.
"I dont know, Jiyeonie. But let's do what Eomma tells us." He said while he was digging for their coats in their closet. He gently put Jiyeon in a sweater, coat, and a scarf, changing himself afterwards.
Their parents' screams didn't die down. It was as if they didn't care that the neighbors would hear them. Jimin led both of them to the front door, the guard by the door looking at the two siblings in sadness. He decided to lead them to the car where they wouldn't hear a single sound from inside the house.
Just when Jimin was finally sitting with his seatbelt on, Jiyeon gasped. "Oppa I forgot my teddy." She turned to him.
Jimin gasped aswell and started to unbuckle his seatbelt. Knowing how the teddy was important to Jiyeon, he hopped off the car and went back inside the house.
Jiyeon peeked through the car window, seeing Jimin go upstairs since the front door was open. She sighed and shivered. "I'm scared." She whispered to herself.
She looked at her side of the window. And saw a head poke at the gates, she squinted her eyes and smiled when she realized it was someone she knew. She clumsily unbuckled her seatbelt with her feet kicking in excitement. She opened the car door and hopped off when the butler noticed what she was doing.
"Miss Jiyeon, where are you going? You must come inside it's very cold." Mr.Jung said.
"Kookie is at the gates, I need to meet him. But please don't tell my dad, Mr.Jung." Jiyeon begged as she held on his hand, her eyes were red from crying and hands were shivering from being so scared of what's currently happening.
Mr.Jung looked over at the gates and saw a little boy in his pajamas, never taking his eyes off Jiyeon. He sighed and nodded. "Please be back quickly. I'll call you if your parents come."
Jiyeon nodded and immediately ran to the gates. Seeing Jungkook there standing in his pajamas, shaking as he hugged his bunny stuffie. "Kookie what are you doing here? It's cold, you might get a fever."
Kookie smiled. "I heard your parents fighting again. I knew you would cry so I came here but this time the guards didn't let me come in."
Jiyeon hummed. "Because my parents are fighting way worse now. And I think we'll be going somewhere."
"Where will you be going?" Jungkook asked in curiousity.
"I dont know. A water park or Disney land I hope." Jiyeon giggled.
"Well." Jungkook looked down and blushed. "I brought a friend with me. I wanted to give him to you, he helps me whenever I cry and feel alone." He said as he held out his bunny stuffie.
"But isnt this your favorite stuffie? Should I give my favorite stuffie too in return?" Jiyeon asked innocently as she hesitated to take the bunny from him.
Jungkook shook his head. "You don't need to. I have my Eomma to take care of me when I cry. She makes me soup and dinosaur nuggets too! Bunny doesnt, but he's still a good friend!" The boy explained and put the bunny in her arms. "He'll take care of you if you take care of him."
Jiyeon giggled and nodded. Giving the bunny a tight hug before she turned to Jungkook and sent him a loving smile. Noticing how Jungkook was still shivering. She put the bunny on the ground and unwrapped the scarf around her neck, putting it on Jungkook.
"That's my favorite scarf. Now if you come to me at night, you won't be cold anymore." She said as she fixed the scarf on his neck. It was messily put on him, but Jungkook was still happy as ever.
"Miss Jiyeon you have to go." Mr.Jung ran to them in panic. Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows in confusion when he noticed him in a strange behavior.
Jiyeon was being dragged away now. She could only turn her head to Jungkook and they only waved their hands goodbye. Jungkook was smiling and face full of hope in seeing her again.
But they didn't know that would be the last. Jungkook happily walked back to his house, cuddling the scarf into his chest.
Jiyeon sat in the car, Mr.Jung putting the seatbelt on for her. Her mother got in the car afterwards, she let out sobs and hiccups as she frantically hugged Jiyeon tightly.
"E-eomma." She started to cry but then stiffened as she noticed something.
"Where's Jimin Oppa?"
Her mother only cried more at the mention of his name and the car was already driving out the house, out the city, to the airport and soon enough they were in a plane.
Flying to another country.
