Chapter 1:Morning Rush

Diane's POV

King Raymond finally pronounced his daughter Princess Diane and the handsome Prince from another kingdom husband and wife. The prince promised to make her his queen,she was excited. The Prince danced with Princess Diane till the party ended. They were both excited. They were allowed to sleep together until the morning when they would both leave to the Handsome Prince's kingdom. The next morning The handsome Prince served Diane breakfast in bed, Diane smiled and thanked him and just as she was about to eat what he served... She heard a familiar voice call her. "Diane!"
She was about to ask her darling Prince if he heard the voice when she heard it again."Diane! " this time it was louder. "Diane! " Her prince disappeared and before she could place two and two together she felt a tap on her leg.

I open my eyes to know the reason why I was unable to finish my dream.
Mom, "Diane! "
"yeah? "
"wake up, you are going to be late for school!" she screamed from the kitchen.
"Ughh! School,Be down in a minute!" I say as loud as I can so she would know that I'm awake.
So now I'm wandering why my alarm didn't ring as I look up to the clock and it's 7:00 !!!

I brush my teeth and wear my uniform and yeah I didn't bother to have my bath cause I did last night. I apply mascara and a strawberry edible lip balm. I comb my hair and wear my shoes and because I didn't have my bath this morning I use my 24hr lasting perfume, no body odour... Just for safety reasons. Running down the stairs,my dark long hair bounces up and down ruining the efforts I put in making it look as neat as possible which leaves me no other choice than to put it in a ponytail revealing one stubborn pimple on the left part of my forehead....life.
"Morning Mike" I greet Mike my older brother who I see having tea with mom. He stands up showcasing his broad shoulders and walks up to me with a cup of tea "Morning lollipop" he greets back. "Mommy" I grin as I hug her "
"Good morning and thanks for waking me up".
"oh it's nothing,you still haven't told me about that prince" she winked and grabbed Lewis' bag with her and walked towards the door as I look at her in suspicion...how did she know about my dream?
"Mom! " I scream and she laughed and left with Lewis who was sitting on Mom's car. She was going to drop him at school before going to the hospital. She's a nurse.
I finish my tea and grab my bag and wait for Mike to finish his Toast. "Be fast"

"So I'm dropping you off?"He asks as he drops his plate and cup in the sink and picks his bad from the couch.

"At Mona's...yeah" I say as I walk to the door expecting him to follow behind me as he halts and asks in suspicion

"Why Mona's? " he was in front of me trying to use his height to intimidate me which for some unknown reason I didn't feel intimidated.
"Someone didn't do their assignment...I see"

I look at him in disbelief and open the door "No not an assignment. We were paired for a presentation and I need to get to her place right now...so let's go" I say as I push him out of the house.

Mike, "Okay okay no need to push. " he shakes his head "Girls"

"What was that?" I ask daring him to repeat it.

"See ya" he says as he runs to the garage for his dear life after saying something I don't like to hear. He knew I'll have a different point of view and at least give him as scar to teach him a lesson. He laughs breathlessly as he enter his car and drives out of the garage to the driveway really fast. Well not really fast,he's got long legs and plays football... Meant to be fast, while I've got short legs and I don't play any sports. I don't even workout which with his eight pack,broad chest and muscular arms you'll know he does.
