Why Wattpad Drives Me Crazy | ✔️

Back to School

So, I'm going back to school tomorrow. Shit. I'm already tired of it...

Okay so as you know, I haven't any wifi up there (it's on a hill 4 hours away) and so my updates will either be very much slower or non-existent:(

I have managed to smuggle in a little wifi in my room and I got a good phone for Christmas so hopefully the network will allow me to go on here a bit more often...

I feel really bad just ending this here, so I'll just conjure up a mini-rant or list of reasons why I hate going back to school. Hopefully, you'll be able to relate to some of them!

1. I have to change my sleeping schedule

I hate this. Like fucking hate it. Over the holidays, you'll find me waking up whenever my body desires - so it'll be like 12 o'clock one day, but then the next is 9:14am. My body will wake up and sleep whenever it pleases.

School takes away this freedom from me, dammit.

And because I'm in ducking boarding school they make us wake up at 5 to do fucking fitness training for two hours if you're on the hockey squad

(The problem is that I love hockey GAAH fml)

2. My parents

Am I the only one who has the most annoying parents when it's time to go back to school?

"Kabi, you need to pack up. Like now." (Only boarders will understand this...)

"Your grades need to go up. I'm tired of you getting As and Bs, child, you need to be getting A*s - how are you going to go to *mispronounces dream university but I can't interrupt* like that?!"

"Have you gotten everything you need?! Like I'm not buying anything else, can you start being organized! You're not a child anymore, that's why I sent you to boarding school!"

"Kabi, what sports are you playing this term? I'm tired of my child being lazy so can you get up and do something with yourself this term [semester]!!"

So yea. It drives me insane goddammit all these damn lectures and shit

3. There's no wifi

So like my school is pretty cool I mean it looks so beautiful if you're a visitor and everything

And there's indoor gyms and a fucking reservoir and an airstrip and forest complete with a nature trail

BUT FUCK IT HAS NO WIFI.

So, here's the sitch. There's computers and computer labs, of course, with Internet. It's part of the school network though, which I have no problem with (except you can't access any social media including YouTube until the weekend. However, over the weekend, I'm too lazy to walk from my boarding house all the damn way to the computer lab. So fuck dat).

They kind of installed wifi in my boarding house but it's too complicated to even bother with

The teaches obviously have wifi in their houses. They'll never tell.

So what are we left to? Our own phones which cannot get any signal or network because we live in the fucking village

OH LAWD I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL

4. You have to study

I'm too lazy

5. You have to do sports

Did I mention that I'm lazy

6. I have to music

Because I'm this apparent music "genius" and shit and I want to be a composer and shit I have to build my repertoire which is fucking annoying because I'm just GAAAHHH

I'M JUST SO LAZY AND I DON'T WANT TO DO ANYTHING

WHY CAN'T I JUST SIT THERE LIKE A LOG AND BE A POTATO AND WATTPAD

THERE'S A DAMN MOSQUITO IN MY FUCKING ROOM AND IT'S ANNOYING ME

FFS MOSQUITO IT'S 1:24am ENOUGH BLOOD YOU FUCKER (or should I say sucker, hehe😉)

7. School food sucks

Holla at me if you know the struggle

8. You get tests (it's mock season)

9. You can't date your hot teacher because he has a girlfriend in Canada but even if he didn't, you're apparently too young...and even if you weren't, you're too ugly

So, here's a few things.

• Do any of you have any ideas for rants or any suggestion on topics I should rant about? (Comment on this sentence).
(I'm not out of ideas, btw).

• I'm going to publish a [short], complete book on how to improve your writing on Wattpad (I've gotten lots of people asking me questions about it, so imma make it a book!). Be sure to look out for that. (In the next two weeks).

• I'm starting a new novel, Kiss Me Through The Phone. I'll probably start publishing in Feb because I HAVE TOL MUCH HAMLET / MACBETH FUCKING COURSEWORK

Lastly: -

The funniest thing about going back to school though is how determined you tell yourself you are. I mean, even at the beginning of a new year (such as 2015), you're all like:

"OKAY, SELF. THIS IS THE YEAR. THIS IS MY YEAR. I'M GOING TO BE THE BEST MATHEMATICS STUDENT EVER; I WILL BE THE TOP PLAYER IN AT LEAST TWO TOURNAMENTS. PLUS, I WILL LEARN TO PLAY BAGPIPES BECAUSE I CAN DO ANYTHING. I WILL GET ALL As, NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES! HARVARD IS THE DREAM, AND WE ARE GETTING THERE!"

Lol then by the second day of school you're just like,

"Fuck that shit. McDonald's doesn't seem too bad a dream either..."

Haha. I love you guys. Hope you have a jolly good year!
