"The sky is so beautiful tonight," You mused, looking up.

"Yea, it is but you're much more beautiful," Shawn said, with a smile.

"You're so cheesy," You replied with a laugh.

"But you like that," He grinned.

You rolled your eyes but smiled as you cuddled next to him. You were both at the beach on a picnic blanket, while watching the sunset. He suggested that you go there because you had been stressed about school and he wanted you to get some fresh air.

"We should do this more often," You said, quietly and he murmured in agreement.

The beautiful color of the sky mixed with the soft splashing of the ocean was enough to take away your worries even if it was just for a little while.

You were truly grateful to have someone like him that put your needs before his and never failed to make you feel better. You were really lucky to be loved by such an amazing person. And you couldn't wait to do this again.
