Memories of your scent (Kuroko)

[Inspired by the song called memory of scent by Huh Gak]

It was a stormy night with a lot of thunder, during a big thunder a certain blue haired male woke up, drench in sweat and panting hard. Kuroko's body was trembling as he remembered the nightmare that he just had. He looked at the celling with an empty stare, before finally snapped out and began to panic. He searched something in the drawers, and grabbed a bottle of perfume. He sigh in relieve and spray a little bit on the pillow next to him. He held the bottle firmly and lay back to his bed.

'Tetsuya kun, why are you so mad at me? Can't you hear my explanation first?'

'No [f/n] it's enough, what else can you explain, I never knew that you would cheat with my own best friend...'

'Oi Kuroko, let us explain ourself first'

' No, just leave... [f/n] just disappear from my life'

After that all that kuroko sees was [f/n] crying face

It was 3AM and again Kuroko got up from his nightmare, and this time he began to cry. He held tight the perfume bottle; his body was shaking like crazy

"[f/n] where are you? Why did you leave me like this... please comeback ..."

The next morning kuroko woke up with a headache; he silently sat near the window, staring at the grey sky. Not long he heard a knocked from the front door, his eyes lighten up and rushes to the door

"[F/N]!!" as he opened the door, but the person in front of him was not [f/n] it was his best friend Kagami. His eyes became dull and about to close the door when kagami's feet was between the doors and forced himself into Kuroko's house.

"Kuroko, snap out of this, stop being like this do you think that [l/n] is going to be happy seeing you like this?" Kagami shouted at Kuroko

"You don't know anything Kagami-kun, please get out now!" kuroko was desperate to make Kagami leave his house. "Listen to me, you have to accept the fact Kuroko, it's not your fault just accept it al-" before kagami finish his sentence suddenly Kuroko gone rampage and about to hit kagami, but fortunately he able to defend himself and hit kuroko instead. Kuroko lost his balance and fell down; a broken sound could be heard by both of them. The bottle perfume that Kuroko held just fell and scatters into pieces.

"Hey... isn't that [l/n]'s-"

Kuroko's eyes widen and he screams hysterically while trying to recover the perfume bottle "[F/N]! [F/N]! [F/N]! NO ... WHY????"

Kagami could not say anything and just stare at his friend's fragile figure, Kuroko cried so hard and he passed out. Kagami was shocked and brought him to the hospital.

'Tetsuya...'

'Tetsuya-kun.. wake up'

Kuroko open his eyes and he saw [f/n] face, he smiled and held her face

'I... had a nightmare [f/n]' said kuroko in a low voice

'what kind of nightmare?'

'You.. and I had a quarrel and I shouted at you... you cried and...' Kuroko stop talking and stare at your face

She just smiles wryly and didn't say anything, and then Kuroko's eye became cloudy

'It's not a dream.... Was it? You did leave me because I asked you to disappear right? Please don't leave me alone [f/n]' kuroko was about to grabbed you when suddenly he stand on a dark place alone, he looked everywhere for you and finally he saw you walking away. He wanted to chase after you but his body froze, he could not walk nor talk. He just saw you little by little disappear from his sight. In a split second you turned your head a little to face him from the distance

' Tetsuya kun, please forget about me'

"!!!!!!!!!!"

Kuroko woke up with tears on his eyes. His heart was tight as if it was sinking and unable to breath, he gasp and breathe heavily. He saw Kagami near the window, looking at the outside

A short silent came before Kagami finally broke it

" It's been 3 months Kuroko... "

"......"

"I don't ask you to forget abo.."

"Kagami stop... just stop..."

Another silent creep in, Kagami didn't know what to do he already clear the misunderstanding between him and Kuroko, He made it clear that [l/n] didn't cheat on him, he was helping her find a gift for their anniversary. The day she died, Kuroko lost all hope, the news of her death was too sudden and he could not overcome his shock. He kept holding her perfume bottle and he would spray it to his clothes, handkerchief even her leftover shirt in his house. Kagami was so afraid that Kuroko would lose his mind to depression, but ironically that perfume is the only remedy that can ease Kuroko's mind during nightmare and flashback.

"i...I'm going home Kagami-kun... please don't bother me..."

As kuroko went back to his house, he passed by a souvenir store and saw a certain bottle that looked like the one he just broke, his eyes was lighten up by the very object, and he run to the store immediately.

"Ara... is that for your girlfriend sir?" ask the cashier. Kuroko just smile and held the bottle with his two hands. After paying he hurried home and locked himself in his room.

He smile, he laugh and he cried, he kissed the bottle and began to spray it all over the place

I want to hold onto you, who is getting farther away
But like always, I will forget you
Your faint memories, those beautiful memories
Only the scent that resembles you still remains

At some point, the sun is setting
It is getting farther away, leaving behind thick memories
In case I start to think of you again
I just live a day like nothing's wrong

Will I be able to meet you again some day?
Will I be able to get over you through someone else?
Whoever you meet, you must be happy
Only your scent, that I can never see again, remains
