Ugly Creature

{We are cruel! Believe me!}

🐛I always see an ugly creature lying on a huge tree, seen in the sunlight,
One day that ugly creature will turn into a beautiful butterfly. 🐛

🐛I saw it yesterday, I saw it today and I will see it tomorrow,
Finding beauty in that ugly creature proves that I'm a
moron.🐛

🐛It was there yesterday, it is there today and maybe it will be there tomorrow,
But one day that ugly creature will turn into the most beautiful and I'll stay like this forever. What a sorrow!🐛

🐛That ugly creature is growing day by day eating the leaves,
But after growing into a butterfly, it's freedom will be snatched by us. What a grief!🐛

🐛It's a tactic or a desire who cares?
Did that ugly creature ever complained or even shouted 'It's not fair' ? 🐛

🐛We grab then harshly and capture them in jars,
Maybe because it's our pathetic nature of incarcerating talent behind the bars.🐛

🐛There are hundreds of tiny dots on that ugly creature's skin,
Believe me, snatching freedom from petty creatures is marked as a sin.🐛

🐛I always envisage this ugly pupa mutate into a beautiful butterfly,
Flying towards me and others with joy,
And captivating us with its colours and glory,
But that oblivious creature doesn't know that some ruthless people will become the reason for why it died,
And this is what we call life.🐛
