009 | Warm Bodies

   She stirs in her sleep, pushing closer to the warmth.

  Ian hums pulling her closer to him.
He loved how good she felt in his arms. He almost didn't want to let her go.

   Nika wakes up and jumps.
"Ian." She huffs.
  "What? You came to me sweetness." She sighs noticing he was right.

   She couldn't help herself. She had never been held so lovingly before. She wanted to know how good it felt. And it indeed felt good.

   She couldn't help but want to be in his arms again.
  "Sorry." She mumbles and gets up to shower.

   When she gets back to her room he's gone.
   Nika dresses and heads down to the same as always. Eat and clean before school.

   Loren comes down and greets her.
Nika hands her a plate of food.
  "Here."

   "Thank you." She smiles and eats.

     Loren doesn't feel the surge of happiness she feels she should.
   She just doesn't think she is even good enough to be Queen. Loren has a feeling they don't even like her.

    Gray almost completely disregards her. Ian and Timothy are simply just nice. "Ugh." Loren drops her fork, catching Nika's attention.

   "You okay. Is it nasty? Cause I put seasoning in it."
   Loren shakes her head.

   "No it's good. I just, i'm worried this won't work." She says.
   Nika takes her plate, not entirely knowing what to say to that.
  "I mean. It might."

   Gray gets down first, followed by Timothy and Ian.
  "Ready?" Ian asks her.
"Mhm."

    Nika sits at lunch by herself. Due to Nessa's absence.
   But Sean does sit next to her. Only to bug her.

   "Hey. You still mad at me?" He asks her. Nika would rather pretend he didn't exist rather than talk to him.

"Nika. Look at me at least." She pulls away when he reaches for her.
   Suddenly Gray appears in the seat across from her.

   "Nika? We need to go."
Before she could answer Sean did.
  "No. She is with me right now."

  Gray raises an eyebrow.
  "Who are you?"
"Sean."
   "Well. Sean, I wasn't fucking talking to you." He huffs.

   "Nika. Come now." She grabs her stuff and heads out with him.
  Leaving behind a angry Sean.

   "What's wrong?" Nika asks.
"A few sirens washed up on shore hours ago. And have attracted the wrong kind of supernatural." He tells her.

   They meet the two, along with Loren, outside
   "I'll go find them. And do what I can to control the problem. You just take them back." Gray says.
  "I'll help." Ian and Gray disappears.
  
   Timothy looks at us.
"Yeah. I totally mind babysitting. Pft
You guys go ahead."  Timothy rolls his eyes.

  "Come on." He motions for them to follow him.
