Half-empty chai and berry tarts, two bites left. Mum made it. She and I were mad at each other a while ago. Oh, well, you'll love her.

I haven't finished Sad Girls but I'm starting to hate Lang Leav. Mum got that book for me a year ago, said I'll love it. Would you like to read it with me? I know you're into manga and manhwa and all that. But I could let you borrow the book if you respond to this letter?

I left window open for the moth that was on my desk last night, and for a little longer it'll be warmer this time around.

For some reason I apologized to the moth, said I am sorry for turning the lamp off, and kissing your left knee—we were doing laundry—and for trying to kiss you. I hope when a moth lands on your desk, you'd accept my apology.

But know that it is okay to leave the lamp on tonight, every night. They sometimes think the light is the sun. For what it's worth, they may get too close and die.

You may leave them be, it is okay.

Most ardently,
Yara
