Tw: Child Abuse, and f-slurs

Ship: Gream/Dreamnotfound

Two lovers Clay and George have been dating for about two years now. They both just finished high school together and are planning on going to go to the same college, after they do a gap year. But before that, they decided to come out to their parents.

First, they went to Clay's house to come out to his parents. They stood outside the door preparing to go in.

"George, I'm scared. What if they don't accept me?", Clay said with his voice shakey.

George grabs a hold of his hand and gave him an assuring look. "Only one way to find out, but if you're not ready yet it's okay we can still wait. We still have like a year before we go to college.", he kissed Clay on the cheek.

"No, I'm going to do this. I don't want us to keep our relationship secret.", Clay took a deep breath and grips George's hand tightly.

They go inside hand in hand and went inside the living room to where his parents were sitting on the sofa watching a movie. They stood in front of the two of them still holding hands.

"Mom, Dad. I have something to tell you guys.", Clay started.

They both looked at the two noticing they're holding hands but still decided to let Clay speak.

"I- I'm gay and I've been dating George for about 2 years now, and I love him. I just wanted to tell you that.", he started sweating and hold George's hand tighter.

"That's it?", his Dad started. "Move out the way, I'm trying to watch this movie.", he did the hand motion to shoo them away.

"What? What about-", Clay got confused.

"We knew that you and George were together, we just didn't say anything because we wanted you to come out when you were ready. We will always support you.", his Mom then spoke up.

"Wait what? How did you guys know?", Clay started to get somewhat relieved.

"A few reasons. You and George spend a lot of time in your room... with the door closed, and let's just say your door isn't soundproof. But we just let it be because we know how boys are.", his mom added.

"Oh my god.", Clay's face turned bright red.

"I told you we were too loud", George whispered in his ear.

"George, make sure you take of him, he can barely take care of himself.", his Dad said.

"Yeah of course", he kissed Clay on the cheek.

"G-George!", he faces turned bright red.

"Can you two go now, I'm trying to watch this movie.", he tried shooing the two away.

Clay just smiled that his parents support him and gave them a hug before him George left for George's house.

"That went well", Clay was relived.

"Now it's my turn to tell my parents.", George said pretty calm and confident.

"You're not worried? About their reaction."

"I feel like they'll accept me, they've been supportive of my other decision, like taking a gap year and letting me chose my own college."

"But in this case, it's a bit... different."

"You worry too much Clay, I'm sure it'll be fine.", he kissed Clay's cheek.

"Yeah, I guess you're right."
