Obsessed

I chuckled and shook my head. And also hit her head once.

"Clean that head of yours." I advised.

"Never happening ma'am." She saluted.

Later in the evening, Kate told me to accompany her to the shopping mall. So, both of us headed towards the mall.

And Sean surprised her, coming to pick her up over there and to take her on a date.

Cue the Aw's.

They insisted they would drop me, but I didn't want to third wheel even if it was for a half an hour.

So, I took my phone out and called for a cab.

"Aria?" I heard a voice. I turned around to see Connor. A very noticable purplish bruise on his jaw.

I cringed as I looked at it.

"Connor." I acknowledged him.

Why did Ashton have to do that?

I turned around and sighed.

"What are you doing here?" He asked and I chuckled.

"This is a shopping mall for a reason." I simply replied.

"Right." He said, scratching the back of his head.

"And what are you doing here?" I teased him and he rolled his eyes.

I laughed at that and shook my head.

"Hey I'm going to this party right now, wanna tag along?" He asked.

"Uh... I think I'll pass." I said, unsure.

"Oh come on it'll be fun." He insisted.

I bit my lip and looked at him. He nodded at me in encouragement.

I sighed. "Okay." He smiled at that.

"Cool, let's go." He said.

"Who's party is it by the way?" I asked while walking towards his car.

"Oh it's a friend of a friend of mine." I gaped at him as he said that.

"Seriously? And you want me to come along, I won't know even a single person out there." I said.

"Oh it's alright, there are gonna be a large number of people and no one's gonna care what you do or say, chill." He said and I nodded anyway.

It'll be fine.

We reached in a few minutes as the location was pretty close.

I got out of the car along with Connor and that's when I remembered.

I face palmed myself.

"Connor, just wait for a minute, I forgot to cancel my order for the cab." I said and he chuckled.

"Okay cool, I'll be just there taling to my friend, you meet me there when you done, just at the entrance alright?" He said and I nodded.

I opened the app and cancelled my request, it took a while as the signal here was weak.

As I was about to head towards the door, a hand caught mine and I swiftly turned around, trying to free my hand.

"Ashton?" I asked, surprised.

He wore an all black outfit, his jaw clenched and eyes a very dark shade of blue.

"Aria, leave from here." He said and I took my hand out of his.

"What are you doing now, following me?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.

"You think whatever you want but once you are out of here." He said and I shook my head.

"I am not going anywhere Ashton." I said and turned around to go in.

"No you're not going in there. This place is not for you, it's dangerous." He said, stepping in front of me.

"Ashton, what's dangerous right now, is you. Not this place or anyone else, so please for the love of God, move out of my way." I said and tried to get past him.

"You are not going there and that's the end of our conversation." He yelled while tightening his grip on my wrist. I tried to free my wrist but no avail.

"And why should I not?!" I argued.

"Please Aria for the love of God, listen to me! It's not safe for you." He said but I wasn't going to listen to him.

"Why do you care? Who are you to care? You're not even my boss now. So why-"

"Because I love you God damn it! I love you! I care about you. That's who I am. I can't live without you." He paused and placed his hand on my cheek. "I am obsessed with you, with every little detail of you. I love you Aria!" He said softly and placed his forehead against mine.
