you were cutting up vegetables for tonight's dinner when you felt two pairs of arms wrap around your waist.
you turned around and gave him a quick peck on the lips, making yaku smile like an idiot.
you reached behind you and grabbed a piece of mushroom and offered it to him, but he ran across the room and snatched the fly swatter holding it up at you in a defensive manner.
"um, morisuke?" you said slowly stepping closer "back away from me while you're holding that demon!" he said swinging the fly swatter side to side "it's just a mushroom!" you shouted throwing the mushroom at him, causing him to shriek and run upstairs back to the shared room.
after a good three minutes, you went into the bedroom to find yaku shivering under the cover.
"babe?" you said quietly placing your hand on the blanket
you felt something pull you down and you were face to face with yaku who looked scared out of his mind.
"are you okay, love?" you questioned, starting to get worried "i'm great, it's just mushrooms freak me out"
"so if a robber came in the house dressed in a mushroom costume with a gun you'd hide behind me?" "of course not, i'd take a bullet for you anyday. hell, i'd do anything to see you happy." he said squeezing your hands

you cuddled up to him and you two drifted off to sleep.
