Or story has finally come to an end! First, I'd like to wish everyone a happy new year, wishing you luck and prosperity. Here are my last few words about Shi Bu Ke Dang.

In the beginning, this book was intended to be approximately 700 thousand Chinese characters, but after editing, and deleting irrelevant sections, it only has 400 thousand characters. That is 400 000 less than《Addicted 》 and over 200 000 less than《 Counter Attack 》.

Out of the three books, Shi Bu Ke Dang is probably the one I give the least love to. It started out as a short story so the format, wording and style were relatively simple. It lacks excitement, the details weren't handled properly, and the main characters' profile was not fully constructed. Of course, the word limit wasn't the problem, the problem lies with me. I had to rush Shi Bu Ke Dang (Advance Bravely) because I had a business trip the following year, so I wanted to use the remaining time to finish another novel. Therefore, I could not give it as much thought as the previous two books. At the time of writing this book, I was always feeling sluggish. Close friends who have been observing me through this time should have already recognised that both my mental and physical health were deteriorating.

Moreover, before that, I was detrimentally affected by a number of negative forces. At that time, Counter Attack was subjected to a huge amount of criticism and controversy, leading to me having to narrow my focus and writing. I wrote Shi Bu Ke Dang is a state of fearfulness and restriction, always having to worry about this and that.

Luckily, I've been able to over come this and readily accept that every author has their own style of writing. Every book I've written, I've written with my two hands and hard work. If the book is good, then I hope it will be a good experience for the readers; if it is not good, then I can't demand that you'll like it either.

Compared to the other two books, my friends have shown their disappointment. I want to express my deepest apology for my limited ability and capacity. I will work harder to recharge and continue writing more addictive stories!

After reflecting on my own mistakes, I would now like to focus on something more optimistic.

Surprisingly, Shi Bu Ke Dang received the highest ratings and number of comments. Many readers have even sent in critiques and comments over 500 words. Other dedicated readers have also gifted the novel 100 yuan, some even gave 500 yuan! Honestly, I don't know how I can repay you all with the limited talent and ability I possess.

As for my future projects...Well, readers can spend time pondering over this book first as I organise my thoughts to write a new novel. Hopefully, this will prevent the readers from having to wait and me from having to write with weary.

Finally, I thank you all for reading《Shi Bu Ke Dang》 . At the same time, I will hold on to your comments dearly. I would like to thank you all for your support; you are my "rice and riches", my guardian angel. Once again, as I bow to you all, I would like to wish everyone a happy new year, wishing you "Unstoppable" (Shi bu ke dang) luck!!!

Last words from Ann:

I honestly do not know where to begin. Words cannot put into perspective how life-changing this project has been for me.

I still remember that moment in grade 11 when I decided to give translating on Wattpad a go, to the crises I had when we lost Advance Bravely and had to spend hours in a hotel room during a family vacation writing an explanation email to Wattpad, to witnessing other translating houses leave or loose their work one by one. Watching closely as Advance Bravely's popularity rose and view counts climbed. And now, 4 years later, I'm completing my last year of university in a foreign country with a completed translation of Advance Bravely.

People come and go, but the one constant thing that has kept me motivated all these years was you guys - the readers - who have been nothing but supportive of this journey. Some viewers often say AB updates make their day a little brighter. For me, silently reading your comments and discussions in the story is the highlight of my day.

Thank you to old and new readers. Thank you for your patience with my slow progress. Thank you for cheering me on during hard times. Thank you for always reminding me of the reason why I started translating in the first place. Thank you for your tolerance during my childish "tantrums" and "rants" as I got myself into fights I shouldn't.

Thank you to all translators and editors who have walked this path with me. You guys are absolutely amazing! Thank you for putting up with my nagging and laziness 😋. I couldn't have completed this book without your help.

Thank you to the gifted Chai Jidan for her work of Advance Bravely - Shi Bu Ke Dang. Thank you to the producers and actors who brought our beloved characters to life.

Many people have asked about my future plans. The answer is, I'm not quite sure yet. I'll be taking a big break from translating to focus on my last year of university and maybe...just maybe...try my own hand at writing a BL novel. I've certainly been playing around with a few concepts lately so I hope you guys will support my new project if it is ever produced.

Finally, as a thank you present, I've painted a little watercolour painting of our much loved Xia Yao and Yuan Zong (despite my limited ability). May their positive energy and bravery accompany you throughout life.

May we all advance bravely together.

With much much love
