After a couple of days had passed, Xia Yao's bloated face eased down a lot, minor bruises and scars had faded away too. The only thing left is the heavy scar at the corner of his eyes that made it look asymmetrical to the other eye. The fractures are healing pretty quickly, too. For the past two days, he was able to get out of bed for simple activities. He continually called his family and friends about his recoveries.
In those two days, Xia Yao had also been looking into the mirror a lot. In just a day, one wouldn't believe how many times he had looked at his reflection in the mirror. This made him completely forget what he had looked like before, and also don't know how much his face has recovered. Xia Yao poked Yuan Zong, "Do you think my face has healed completely?"
As a matter of fact, Yuan Zong sees no difference at all, and at most, it was only a tiny defect in some areas. Plus, Yuan Zong like the small flaw, especially when Xia Yao's puffy face smiled, it squeezed out his double chin, which looked particularly pleasant.
"Almost." Yuan Zong said.
Xia Yao asked again, "How much is almost?
"Basically there is no difference."
Xia Yao feels like he hit a jackpot, his face grinning and laughing. Taking advantage of Yuan Zong bending over to tidy things up, Xia Yao slapped his buttock hard. This slap came a bit sudden, Yuan Zong's figure was slightly shook. He turned his head and looked at Xia Yao and Xia Yao grinned back at him with a bright smile.
Yuan Zong wants to laugh, "What are you up to?"
Xia Yao smiled mischievously, making his unequal eyes squeeze out an amusing charm. "It's nothing, it's just that I find you particularly cute today."
After saying that, Xia Yao even patted Yuan Zong's ass a few more times. "Why are you so cute?"
From the surface, Yuan Zong remained stoic, but his heart was already slowly melting. Even a stone can be touched when being flattered, let alone these were his sweetheart's words. Even though they may only be bantering praises coming from Xia Yao's current giddy feeling, it was enough for Yuan Zong to be drunk in love.
"Knock, knock, knock!" A knock sounded at the door.
Yuan Zong went to open the door, and when he saw Xia Yao's mother, he immediately put on a polite smile, "Aunty, you're here."
After Xia Yao's mother gave Yuan Zong a smile, she immediately rushes into the room. Luckily seeing that Xia Yao is not hurt badly her heart settled down a bit, but that didn't stop her from scowling with love.
