No offense.

After the funeral, Snow went back to Skaikru's camp.

"Why do they send you?" Raven asked.

"Because you're the most trustworthy spy they have?" Kane, the untrusting jerk, suggested.

Snow raised an eyebrow, "Because I told them to."

"Why would you do that? The rest of us literally hate you," Bellamy pointed out, "Do you not hate us? Or is it possible that you might like us?"

"Don't flatter yourselves," Snow rolled her eyes, "I'm here to make sure none of you messes this up. My Queen already has enough reason to lock me out of my own home."

Kane frowned, "You seem to do just fine on your own."

"Let me clarify," Snow smiled sweetly, "When she finally lets me in, I am usually suffering from hypothermia and frostbite."

The very thing her twin had been named after nearly twisted her heart in two.

And yet that jerk still couldn't figure it out.

"For goodness sake, it's winter in the ice nation so far up north that most people wouldn't last half way there," Snow snapped, "Now can we just focus."

"On what?" Raven asked.

Even Clarke looked confused as Indra and a bunch of her soldiers followed behind them.

"It's an alliance," Indra said, "So for the next few days, we will be staying with Skaikru."

"What if we don't agree to that?" Abby challenged idiotically.

Snow twirled her dagger between her fingers as Indra nodded towards her, "Ice princess over here got her job for a reason."

The idiots had no clue.

"I'm an assassin, you morons," Snow snapped, "Can we train now?"

"Sounds like you want to get your butt kicked by our soldiers," Kane said.

Snow smiled faintly, raising an eyebrow, "Where's your best soldier? I'm itching for a fight."

"Weapons down first," Indra warned, "So that Snow here doesn't nearly kill you."

There were a few snickers around the camp. Snow knew what they thought.

How could a small nineteen-year-old pampered princess beat the best trained adult guard in camp?

Her size helped her when people underestimated her. She wasn't pampered and she'd rather be a general than a princess. And Skaikru trained guards were miserable fighters.

The gate closed as a tall strong man walked through the crowd towards Snow, who's numerous weapons lay on the ground beside her.

In a split second, the woman, Byrne, was on her back, groaning in pain.

"What happened?" She asked.

Snow smirked as she turned to Kane, "Let's get one thing straight. I may be a princess, a rather disappointing one at that, but I am not weak."

And she could've sworn she heard small cheers through camp. The story was the hundred kids had been sent to Earth to die and buy time for everyone else.

Well, that meant as captain of the guard, Byrne would have plenty of enemies.

Training continued through the day. Despite their curiosity, Trikru stayed away from the guns and Skaikru. And Snow, who watched them slowly fight while holding back a smile.

It started raining that evening, but Snow didn't go inside, and neither did anyone else.

Octavia, the small little Skaikru girl Lincoln started to fall for, was fighting one of Indra's toughest warriors.

Snow had identified all of his strengths and weaknesses, and could have taken him down in seconds.

But to be fair, for a girl with no training whatsoever, minus whatever Lincoln taught her, was doing pretty well.

By well, Snow meant she was getting back up every time she fell to the mud.

And she knew what Octavia was doing. She was trying to prove she had a strong heart and could endure a lot.

It clearly had no affect on the soldiers, but Indra seemed pleased.

A knife sliced through the air, landing in Indra's table.

This had the attention of the whole camp now with the fight over.

Another flew at Snow's face, which she caught with practiced ease and grace before throwing it into a nearby target post.

"Who threw that?" Snow looked around, trying to keep her boiling anger out of her voice.

A man stepped forwards, "I did." He now had an arm around a young Trikru trainee's throat.

He was a young boy who'd just started training, so he didn't yet know how to get out of a chokehold. He wasn't supposed to be here, but he was too excited about the alliance that he wanted to help.

If Snow remembered correctly, his parents were taken by the maunon. Of course he wanted them back more than anything in the world.

But now, fear lined his face. His eyebrows creased together and his lip quivered slightly. His hands fidgeted nervously, and his deep green eyes made his fear apparent.

Snow was an assassin, so she couldn't have many rules restricting her ability to do her job. But she had one major rule.

Never. Ever. Mess. With. The. Kids.

One of Snow's signature white arrows landed directly in his eye, making him touch it in shock for a moment before falling back, dead.

Everyone's gaze turned to Snow.

"This alliance will get both of our peoples out of the mountain," Snow shouted, "Both of us need this to work. But let me be perfectly clear. Any threat to the alliance on either side will be dealt with by me. Understood?"

Everyone slowly nodded, but Kane frowned, "Who does that kid think she is, bossing everyone around like that?"

"I think I'm the one who was raised to kill," Snow said, "It is my job. So if anyone gets in my way when it comes to getting my people out of that mountain, I will not hesitate to silence them. That goes for both sides."

"You can never trust someone who will turn on her own people," Kane replied loudly.

Snow smiled faintly at a memory, "My people are dead. Emotional attachments made me weak."

"So you just watched as your Queen killed them in all front of you?" Kane asked.

"No," Snow stated firmly, "I killed them myself."
