Chapter 28

You feel a slight soft touch on your shoulder as you slowly begin to open your eyes. You see Amanda smiling at you, covering her mouth slightly. In your half awake state, you say

"Morning, sis."

Amanda laughs slightly, as you realize what came out of your mouth. Feeling your cheeks heat up, you try to blow it off.

"Good morning to you too I guess." She responds, as she wipes her blade, cleaning the blood. She hands you a small sandwich, and a toolbox.

"Your next trial if in a few minutes. The Entity decided to change stuff up slightly, and let two killers go at once, and allowed 6 survivors to go inside. You get to face Rin and Kazan." She explains.

You begin to eat, as you ask,

"Isnt that the girl with glass in her arms and that wierd samurai guy?"

"Yeah, best of luck man." Amanda says, while eating a sandwich beside you.

"Why would there he two killers though?" You ask.

"Well, the entity uses us as both a food source and for entertainment. Every once in a while it will make 2 killers go at once, usually when it gets bored or it has gotten enough sacrifices." Amanda explains quickly between bites of sandwich.

"What should I do in the trial?" You ask Amanda.

She rolls her eyes, "Either do generators, or help your teammates do generators or somthing. I dont know" she says sarcastically, while shaking her hand.

You open your toolbox to find a clean rag to clean off any oil, a few scraps, and a few tools. You look up at Amanda and smile, as she nods back at you.

"Dont worry, if you dont make it, Rin will being back my tools afterwards. Dont worry about that." Amanda says. You notice some black mist begin to roll in, as Amanda gives you a peace sign with her left hand, while she holds her meal with her right. You give her a thumbs up as the mist begins to surround you. Feeling the entity move, you know you have arrived.

You open your eyes again, to find a generator infront of you, and Meg standing beside you.

"Hi Meg." You say, as she begins to work on the generator.

"Hey bud." She says back, while she starts fixing the wiring. You open the toolbox, and begin working on the generator. Meg looks over.

"Those tools are holding up really well! Where did you get those?" She asks.

"Dont worry about it. Let's just finish this gen." You say, as you hear a gust of wind. Meg gets up, and walks away without saying a word. You just kinda ignore her and continue on the generator. Moments later, you feel someone grab your shoulder and throw you to the ground. You look up to see Rin, as she quickly puts her sword away.

"Oops, sorry. I hope I didnt frighten you little one." She says apologetically.  She continues, "Normally, that would mean I get a quick grab and a free hook, so here." She says, handing you a needle. You inject it into your shoulder and begin to message the tissue, until you begin to lose feeling in your shoulder. Rin then softly grabs your wrist and leads you to a hook. You dont bother resisting, as she slowly lines up the hook, to make sure it hits the numb part, and quickly drops you on the hook, after lining it up. You whimper slightly, but your able to keep mostly quiet, as Rin looks away from you. After a few moments pass, you dont hear or see anyone coming. You grab the warm metal and begin to lift yourself up, in an attempt to free yourself from the hook. After losing your grip, you slip and scream out in pain, watching your blood pool onto the ground, speeding up the entities progress in your sacrifice. After trying again however, your able to keep your grip, as you jump off of the hook. Shortly afterwards though, Rin appears infront of you. She lightly pushes you to a wall, signaling you to stay, while she checks the lockers around the basement. After checking them all, she looks around the corners, and then walks up to you.
