My eyes flutter open. All I see is bright light and all I hear, silence. Adjusting to the light; my eyes gaze around the small, white room. Machines in every corner, tubes all leading towards me. My wrists red raw. I curl into a ball and break into tears. Something so simple did not work. The silence is so strong I can't hear my own cries. And then footsteps, doctors rush in each trying to explain my condition. I cut them off short saying, "I know suicidal, staying in for observation, anti-depressants, I get it." Everyone looks in shock as a smirk spreads across my face. They never expected that. Many of them step out off the room leaving two standing at the bottom of the hospital bed. "We only just saved you." A tall young man declares. "But you didn't save me," I mumble, "You brought me back to hell."
